Coin Cell Battery LR44 Won't Last or Died - How to replace with AA alkaline

LR44 coin battery in my humidity thermometer died. I managed to replaced it with an AA alkaline battery. And I then built it into a piece of wood stud to create a decoration for my desk. Successful interesting DIY.

I'm no electrical engineer or anything but does the circuitry of your "little gadget" compensate for the decreased voltage of the big battery at 1.5v. (it looks to me as you were replacing a 2032 lithium ion 3V.) Having said that, wouldn't it be nice if our little toys listed an acceptable range of voltages that maintain their accuracy. thanks for the video. Peace...Lawson di Ransom Canyon
