Thank you so much for watching! Please remember to like and subscribe if you want to see more breakdown videos! Fun Fact: Devon Sawa who played human Casper in the movie went on to be Eminem's 'biggest fan' in the music video for Stan!
The movie and game have a lot of history for me. I was a pale kid and after this movie came out everyone in school kept teasing me every day, calling me Casper, ghost etc and singing the Casper song at me. I developed a huge complex about my appearance which continues to this day. I loved the game so much as it was one of the games my mother got me when she (utterly) surprised one Xmas with a PS1 (I was hoping for a mega drive and was jealous because everyone said they were getting a PS1). To this day this was the only video game my mother ever played with me which means an incredible amount, especially as she has dementia now so I'm grateful for every nice moment I got to spend with her when she was still with it mentally. I'm really enjoying your videos, I've subscribed
Glad you're enjoying my videos, thanks for the sub, I really appreciate it! So sorry to read that you had to deal with a bunch of idiots when you was younger, and also about your mum these days. It's genuinely amazing how big of an impact these little games have our lives, and how the memories they create stay with us.
Also; I talked to Eivend Hagen, lead programmer on the game, long story short; I'm 99% sure that the red key was supposed to be a spare gold. You can soft lock yourself out of the back half of the game secrets if you open gold doors in the wrong order; unless you had a spare.
Ah yes that makes sense! I guess if anyone got soft locked, there's always that cheat which allows Casper to hover out of bounds over the walls 😂 must of been awesone getting to talk to Eivend Hagen about the game aswell!

@@RetroSamBam it's funny because the game never reviewed very well at the time, but it gave me a lot of good memories

Never played the game, but it reminds me of the WALL-E PS2 the game, because of all the changes to the story.
It was on pc? :0 😮
It was indeed according to IGN / GameSpy. Getting a legit copy these days seems impossible though unfortunately 😕
