How to remove driver's side interior door panel BMW X3 2011-2017

How to remove (and reinstall) the interior door panel on a BMW X3. Necessary for tinting windows, replacing motors, etc.

Do I need to remove the door panel to replace the interior door handle on it? There are no screws, only clips on the new handle that I'll be installing.

Honda Guy, are you referring to an X3 or a Honda Civic? The answer is 'no' if you're talking about a Civic.

I don't know. I haven't had to do that but my guess is that the door panel does have to come off to access the wires and such that go to the switch.

I apparently lost a few of the hex screws from my door panel 2009 bmw x 3. Can you tell me where I can find the right screw and what it is?

It doesn't have to be the exact same kind, but the threads should be the same. I recommend removing one and take it to Auto Zone or Lowes and find a matching one. Doesn't have to be a hex head, just needs to be the same diameter, thread pitch, and approximately the same length.
