I have an old style Maxus which I bought about 18 months ago. It was half price thanks to the new one having just come out. I actually prefer the style of the older version and mechanically it’s no different from the Maxus II. I also had problems with cycling reliability with lighter loads when the gun was new. That problem seems to have gone away now. BTW I ❤ Bruce Potts!
These are nice autos,If your on a budget try the Winchester sx4 which is the same gun without the speed load or magazine cut off but is half the price.
