I remember my mom buy this game for me when it first released and on that same day a good friend of mine at the time stop by my place with a copy of the game in his hand and I showed him my copy and we just smiled, laughed and hung out at my place and played it for a few hours good times. Beat this game countless times, but was not easy the first time playing it though.
When it comes to licensed characters, Batman has had a much better track record than most. And this Ninja Gaiden style platformer…that has little to do with the movie, proves it. Still nice of Sunsoft to get B-villains like Killer Moth and the Electrocutioner as bosses.
BATMAN FOR NES FROM DECEMBER 1989 AND NINJA GAIDEN FOR NES FROM DECEMBER 1988 ALMOST IDENTICAL 😀 GREAT VIDEO GAMES 🎮 🕹 BUT NINJA GAIDEN 🥷 IS STILL THE HARDER OF THE TWO.
What’s next? “Batman: Return Of The Joker” or “Batman Returns” (1993 SNES Version made by Konami) where it plays almost like The 1992 Movie Sequel made by Tim Burton who also made The 1989 First One…

AVGN made one of his best episodes based on this Batman game and others.
Nerd as Batman was great, but Mike as Joker was borderline hysterical, that ending still has me dying.
@@sixtyfivekills4543 Mike was going off🤣🤣🤣
Bimmy still around. nothing but good memories.
Batman Return of the Joker on the NES was one of my all time greats. That soundtrack.
This is not Return of the Joker. This is from the 1989 film
Never made it past 3-1 as a kid because of those jumping hulking monstrosities ^^" but I always loved the stage 1 music
Stage 1 music is so rad.

Imagine if they redid Batman 89 in a way that Sunsoft did and still keep the Prince songs in the film...
I rarely get past those big jumping mutants in 3-1😅
That and The
Sega Genesis Version from
1991 are the best ones,
which I did played during
childhood back then…

Sunsoft was one of the best NES developers.
And music composers as well.
I remember pretending to be sick to play this game🥲
Thank god this wasn't published by LJN like many other movie based games
Awesome game 🎮

Tim Burton's Batman was with Michael Keaton
Esse batman é bom maos o 2 é o bicho
Batman 1988😮
In 1989 and 1992
Now THIS is a true Batman video game! The Arkham nonsense was pure trash
Lord JEsus Christ Is The King.
IT's all about Batman. To this day.
