Wooahh Just because it was already choreographed doesn’t mean doing the dance is easy. It took OK GO a dozen tries to get it correct. These guys did it live and nailed it the first try. It’s incredible what they did.
Genuinely brilliant. To get that in one take is incredible. They must’ve rehearsed so much. The attention to every tiny detail and move is spot on. Feel so pleased for them watching it must’ve been great to be a part of.
I know that's to much for me I would never try to do that because one time my neighbor had one of those and I accidentally pressed the button to speed it up and fell and got in trouble so I will never do that again!!!!😲😲😲
They missed the part where Damien stumbles on a backwards turn step, I was waiting for it but he did it perfectly but then again at least I go to see what the routine would have looked like without thr stumble

meragan12487 They didn't do it better than OK Go. These guy just imitated the band; the band was taught the moves by the singer's professional ballroom dancing sister. A tiny slip doesn't mean the students did it better. Don't get me wrong, they did great, but I doubt they were coached on technique like the band was.
I come back to this video every 2ish years just to marvel in the amazing early-2000s video quality, the raw performance, the confidence, the coordination & choreography, but most importantly the testament to friendship this shows. I hope all these guys stayed friends & stay in touch now.
Fair point. If that were the case, though, I wonder if the teens were able to access the machines without supervision. Since (US) schools are usually very careful about liability concerns, it's hard to imagine they would've knowingly let students use the machines that way, even after hours.
Forget liabilities, would a US highschool even have that many treadmills for student use? They're not exactly known for their generosity when it comes to funding for school equipment
lol the point I'm trying to make is that there is way more talent in this video and the bottle flip video blew up way more, which is dumb as fuck to me
This was so well done, it's insane, even the small things like the jacket flip and the jaw dropping and even the occasional looking back at or towards the audience is all accounted for and done perfectly.
Damn, I wish people were nearly half as cool as these guys when I was in highschool. This may be 7 years old now, but mad props to these guys. Also i like how at the beginning the kids were laughing like "har har look at these dorks- wait HOLY SHIT YES"

I’m so proud of them and so happy and ecstatic they pulled it off and it’s just so freaking pure. The amount of time they put in for this absolutely legendary performance was so worth it.
