I saw you video on this the other day and just got back from the store with some leeks. I am making this for Easter tomorrow. Thank you very much. You guys are great!
Yay!! We hope you enjoy the leek gratin and even more we hope you have a beautiful Easter celebration! Let us know how it all turns out!! Much love, Kris & Wesley
I am finally making this tonight. Leeks have been impossible to find here but I scored some at my green grocer! I use leeks a lot. There is just something about them that elevates a recipe when you substitute leeks for onion, especially in a dish that uses dairy!
Awesome! We had trouble finding leeks a while back, too!!! We agree with you completely about their flavor profile! We hope you like the gratin as much as we do! Please let us know how it turns out and what you think!!! xoxo Kris & Wesley
Really Enjoyed the video as Always. Was curious if you are a fan of riced cauliflower. I have been lately. I tried using it in cabbage rolls instead of rice for the meat mixture and it worked out well. Just remember to fry the c rice to get rid of some of the moisture before adding it to the meat to avoid it getting soggy during baking.
Yes! We do love riced cauliflower! And that really sounds amazing using it in cabbage rolls! You've inspired us! We're adding riced cauliflower to our list of recipes to develop. Thanks again and have a great weekend!
