This is very random but I’ve commented before and we are the family who was just in the Dominican Republic. Right now we are visiting the upper peninsula of Michigan, totally different then the Dominican! There is a possibility my husband will get a pastor job here and he is preaching tomorrow. We visited a few weeks ago to see the church building and parsonage and i remember on the list of missionaries they support there was a family in the Solomon Islands and I immediately thought of y’all! I don’t suppose I should find out the name of the missionaries and post it in the comments? It does seem there is much work to do there and not enough missionaries!
Such a fun activity (JUMPING, and coming short of the mark) to represent that Bible verse that "All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." I would love to use this idea, but the verse doesn't translate sufficiently to do it in Spanish.
That is such a fascinating factor with Bible translation in other languages. So many things don’t carry over the same, but we have also found many times that other languages allow things to be taught in a more powerful way in other areas.
