I ordered one from Sofirn and waiting for it to arrive. From your review, it looks to be a decent light. Should be good to light up the yard and look for critters before I let the dog out, or to take camping. Thanks for the review!
For the price I think quite a good buy, and being able to take various batteries is also handy to have. There are always things I don't like, so I mention both so you can decide if it's worth it. Thanks for dropping in!
Fantastic light for the price. There are some sharp edges, but not likely to cut your hand or anything. The ramping speed is extremely slow, about twice as long as other ramping lights.
I don't mind the speed myself, some are a bit fast but yes it's probably slightly slow. Easier to nail the brightness though. Build is fine I just mention the edges not quite as smooth as you might like, it's not a big issue really
I tried one before and it completely flopped best picks on lights. It wasn't really worth the time spent making it. I have done the charger one that did really well, I may do other ones in future probably not on lights. People seem to like the bad "top 10" type videos v informative ones so I'll pass probably. Shame but that's how the tube works!
Since day 1 this light has flickered on me. Sometimes it won’t even turn on unless I take the battery out and put it back in. I’ve tried several batteries and the flickering is always there… any idea why this light would flicker?
I gave this one to a friend it's still working, so based on that I would say it's good enough as a budget offering. I have used a few, but not too many from this maker
@@MrBazReviews apart from custom batteries. I'm looking at flood and throw. Is this as good as olight etc. Which light do you recommend overall for a good flood and throw?
@@mohammedazad2497 It's good for the price I don't like the Olight Pro much the beam isn't my thing. Look at other reviews I have done on torches, there are many find what you like that is the best way to go
More range is probably better for that, either the Fenix or a tactical one. Most tactical ones go 320m or further 40R has a pretty good beam over 400m, it does drop down of course
Doesn't seem to be much difference all the ones I have used all test very close in capacity, just avoid the ultra cheap eBay Li-ion cells they are awful. Liitokala Lii are well priced they work well enough or any of the known brands, Keepower/Xtar etc.
It might be it has some weight, the bezel has a bit of an edge, and it's priced in the more affordable range v similar offerings. Comes down to battery type, some like the 21700 cells
Hi Mr. Baz! I hope you are doing well. Keep up with your wonderful great video reviews!! I love the Honesty! Unfortunately, I lost interest in this flashlight, when you showed the cheap plastic battery holder. Yikes, kinda flimsy.
It's just the 18650 adapter nothing more and they're all the same there is no holder for the normal battery as it's big enough. I wouldn't read too much into that one area I've seen 18650 holders and they're mostly the same.

Very good review. Best on youtube. Well done my friend. I will buy this.
It's quite good for a more affordable torch
These are always great, thanks Mr. Baz! How about a torch overview that includes the top five?

Very well done review with attention to details other reviews omit.
Thanks I try my best
Nice review, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

PWM isn't visible to the eye, it only shows up on camera. If it's doing that contact the seller it's faulty
Did you find the issue causing the flickering?
Thank you, Sir. How is your Experience with Sofirn after all ? Can you recommend this brand ?

This vs olight warrior pro. Which one is better. Im looking for one with a good flood and throw
This is much cheaper it's mixed beam so flood and range. It's decent for the price. I'm not into custom batteries so the Olight would be off my list

Thank you for the video! Am I correct in understanding this Flashlight has no PWM flicker even when using Ramping mode Group 2?
I didn't see any on ramping
What is pwm flicker? My light has had this annoying flickering since the day I bought it
would you recommend this one or the pd40r or a more a light with more throw for wildlife spotting and photographing?
More range is probably better for that, either the Fenix or a tactical one. Most tactical ones go 320m or further

Do you find that with lockout off, the side switch is easily accidentally switched on when in the pocket?
I didn't have a problem but I don't put things in my pocket with it, maybe that's why?
@@MrBazReviews cheers, does the button sit fairly flush to the body?
@@Jbonn6141 Almost not quite it doesn't stick up much
Does it works while charging?

This is shown in the video

Okay I’m not trying to attack them with the flashlight. I mean blinding power. Does it have enough brighteness to stun or blind?
@@Mash3OH3 Any torch around 700+ lumens will be bright enough to distract someone for a few seconds
@@MrBazReviews
So what can a 3500 lumen flashlight do?
@@Mash3OH3 People don't buy high lumens torches for blinding people, they buy them because they want more area lit up or more range.
Este modelo ou a SP35?
SP 35 is slimmer, they are quite different have not used it
Are the 3500 lumens real ?
It's in the ballpark of that, it's no eBay thing that pretends to be high output and puts out about 30 lumens!
@@MrBazReviews Thank you !
