It takes balls to step up and take a penalty. Something I couldn’t do when I was young and the games I lost because I refused to put my hand up and take a pen I regretted. So don’t be disheartened Ollie be proud that you had the nerve to stand up, step up and take a penalty because it’s important to show courage and not live with the regret of not taking one. The next time you take one you will take it better and each time you will learn. This is football. Well played lad you played well.

Other teams penalties were unreal. Great first season though, should have won in 90 but games the game
Loss or not the boys played brilliantly some beautiful passes and angels, having a coach who can talk and hype you through the loss but keeps you grounded is super important well in ginge yet again

Unlucky lads think the nerves affected the game a lot. Definitely should have been winning this game within the 90 not penalties. You learn from these performances. When you’re not quite at it you end up getting punished. The far better team lost today but it’s a learning experience onto the next one lads!

Through wins and through losses, that’s what makes a team stronger!
Lads played well, if I was Ginge, I would be taking the time to do penalty training with the Keeper and teaching him ways to read body language, eyes etc to determine the way of the ball. Everytime there was a penalty he read the wrong way. Just something that needs a tad bit of work
The passing from the lads was amazing, from the first whistle the lads went out to perform, benno lucky not to get bucked for that first challenge and let's be honest we all love the "get up ya soft fuck" from benno, definitely could have done more to win the game within the 90 minutes, taking alot of pressure in the midfield but it's nothing the team can't handle, a lot of the shot chances should have been in but none of those shots on target was a waste of possession in my opinion. As for the penalty shootout, it was just unlucky, but don't let it beat you lads.

Playing tennis at a competitive level this was one of the quotes surrounding the tennis courts. Basically meaning, learning how to pick yourself up from a loss to come back better and stronger is so important. That losing feeling is how you make changes.
Mentally it's horrible but you HAVE to address the errors in order to fix, improve and be back stronger.
There's more to this team than a penalty shoot out, they've proved time and time again that they have great football.
