@@sk8ns4life this. Top tiers do stuff like this so frequently we can tell who’s playing by how they’re playing a character only. It is so common that minor detail deviations are noticeable. This is probably the only time you’ve seen Zelda combos much less ones with din.
@@sk8ns4life you're pretty much spot-on. A lot of Zelda's neutral is very patient, waiting for the opponent to mess up, basically a low-tier Puff. It doesn't make for very interesting highlights most of the time. But when you finally get a string going, those are the few hype moments she has.

The only reason no one plays her is because of the stigma that she is a worse Sheik and that the only good thing she has are lightning kicks If more people played her they would notice she has some decent matchups against top tiers (if you know how to use her and don't spam aerials), from my perspective she's just a little better than Donkey Kong
That was seriously really interesting… lol the projectile hits them toward your character… so weird. But being ready with the sweet spot kick or up air, now that’s fascinating
she just doesn't really have the tools to do anything interesting. She has only a handful of good moves (fair/bair, dsmash, down-b) in addition to some of the worst mobility in the game. One of her big issues is that all her moves are multi-hits and they're generally pretty free to SDI out of. She can do okay against floaties in some cases since her aerials kill pretty early, but there's very little reason to go Zelda over Sheik if you're trying to win. obviously if you find Zelda fun and that's what you wanna play, more power to you, but she's probably bottom 4 in the game.
@@SuperAmazingJared Her multi-hit attacks aren't that bad, her forward Smash is strong and spammable, her Up Smash has low startup and combos into Lightning Kick, Neutral B is useful for edgeguarding and out of shield and Neutral Air forces players to tech in platforms, which leads to reads

I'm no expert but I honestly think she's better than ness, pichu and mewtwo also but nobody plays her to show it (similar to how hbox makes Ness look decent at times). I feel like she has enough potential just because half of her moves are quite strong, but her sad stats and "boring" playstyle hold her back from being used more. That's just how I feel anyway.
You're absolutely right The only reason why she's a low tier is because there's not representation, actually being played is taked a lot in count while making tier lists and it's impossible for her to move up if everyone plays the same characters over and over again I love almost everything about her moveset, her multi-hits are so random and unpredictable which makes the opponents kill themselves while trying to SDI lol
From a balance perspective, do you think Zelda would purely benefit from making her actionable after midair side-B in a interesting gameplay sense and a productive character design sense?
I think the developers must have thought that player-controlled projectiles like Din's Fire, PK Thunder, and PK Flash would be too unbalanced if you could use them in the air and then recover back to the stage afterward. In reality, these projectiles are all pretty slow and wouldn't really benefit the character if you could act after them anyway.
