Damn, Silky's monologue about how gay men even just 50 years ago had to be inventive with their makeup because they couldn't just go to the makeup counter... that was such an interesting point! I really enjoyed what she had to say there!
Definitely a great point, but we should remember that this still happens today in hyper-conservative places in the US and around the world. We still have work to do so that everyone can have access to the same things -- be it makeup, marriage, etc.

I'm 3 minutes in and Silky has such a calming, authentic presence. Everyone who felt some type of way about her totally misunderstood her. Regardless of what happens the rest of AS6, I'm so happy Silky's Ruvenge/Rudemption happened because it needed to.

@@BethPaige Oh editing can do ALOT. Any reality TV show does that, not just RPDR. Just look at Raja and the 180 she has this time like she is a different person. I mean it is an extreme situation, to begin with - they call it pressure cooker for a reason, so I would expect that most queens are on a certain level more on edge than in daily life. I don't know any of the queens personally so I just get what is displayed and here in the video, where the pressure is off, she seems quite nice. Could be a facade, could be real. I'll never know and can only choose what I make out of it. And in general - there is enough negativity - I try to give people the benefit of the doubt :) (which doesn't mean I am suddenly a fan of how she was on the show)
