@@waynejohanson1083 The Steelers organization is petty and They where mad that Franco did not accept that small contract back in 1984 and played his last season in Seattle!!
@@darrylturner4566 made him wait 50 years for what his jersey number never got worn again by a Steeler after him may not have been officially retired but it wasn’t used so idk why your so upset Your talking bad about an organization we just lost a person like come on dude your better then that your talking about a contract and he left because his agent wanted him to get a 2nd year guaranteed and he didn’t get that with Seattle either so clearly it doesn’t matter in the long hall now does it
I was a raider fan /my brother was a Steeler fan.i also rooted for the cowboys back in the day.pittsburgh was the only team the cowboys.could'nt beat.(Rip) Franco.
J.T.Thomas said it better than anyone else could. His friend was just a really decent human being and a help and inspiration to everyone around him. Rest in Peace, Franco Harris. The Greatness was obvious to everyone who saw you.
I remember when franco was nearing jim browns record and brown kept saying franco prolonged his career by stepping out of bounds all the time and proceeded to challenge him to a 40 yard dash race. when franco was asked is he was going to race brown franco replied we already did I stepped out of bound at the 39 just a really good guy rip franco I will always treasure the autograph you gave me.
RIP Franco...another of my heroes gone too soon. I grew up in Pittsburgh and Franco Harris, Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell and Bruno Samartino were my heroes as a kid and as an adult.
I will never forget the immaculate reception. My husband, brother in law & my brother in laws new baby, who I was holding were together watching the game. My poor BIL couldn't decide what to look at....the TV screen or me holding his new baby screaming & jumping up & down cheering Franco on. I knew I wasn't going to drop her, but he wasn't quite sure. LOL....now you all know how old she is.
I have been sick since I heard the news Franco I loved what he did for the Steelers and Western Pa Christmas Eve 2022 The Raiders MUST go down And they must go down hard 🙏
To be shocked is heavy but easier to carry in your heart knowing Franco Harris didn’t go through a difficult passing . In some way I’d like to think any time to honor the achievements he made in football history and years after that the love people have for him will all come together-During The time of year when it will all collide with many tears and meaningful bittersweet memories . We love you Franco 🖤💛🖤❄️💔
Disrespectful of you to say so, not everyone does because of a vaccination or known illness. Grow up and get over yourself. PS, it was likely a heart attack. RIP 🕯️
@@jennifer_m.8613 So he's disrespectful because he mentioned the vaccine and then you say heart attack like that's any better. Franco supposedly died in his sleep and God bless him he didn't have to suffer.
R I P Franko YOU ARE A LEGEND
Beautiful Tribute.

This man was a giant and should have had his #32 retired years ago.

Exactly...72 isn't really that old. The older I get, the younger it seems. Véry sad...Mr. Harris was a great role model.
Yes. I saw another interview and he seemed a bit weak. Was he in bad health? Maybe a sudden heart attack? Any thoughts?
