The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is a solid Guy Ritchie take on World War II that tells an incredible, sort-of-true story as only this specific British filmmaker can. Henry Cavill leads his band of merry misbehavers to war against any Nazi in eyesight, blending spy game thrills with safeties-off action sequences. The overall pacing stumbles slightly between Gus’ antics and supporting character focus shifts, and storytelling can be reductively familiar at times, but neither torpedoes that production. It’s fine that Ministry exists almost entirely to dance on Nazi graves - more movies should. You typically know what you’re getting from a Ritchie movie, and that’s never a problem with this ungentlemanly delight. Whenever momentum dips, Alan Ritchson shows up and aggressively murders a Nazi - you’ll be just fine.

Lionsgate is not a big player in distribution
Blame Amazon. They bought the non-US rights for exclusivity of all Lionsgate films. Even in Canada, and now we have to wait for some hypothetical date that's yet to be announced for a Prime Video debut.

The movie was kinda whack. It gave me Walmart version of inglorious bastards at the start which wasn't appealing to me. And for 80% or maybe even 95% of the gun action was them 1 tapping people and making it look too effortless.
Still deserves a 7 and maybe 8 to others.

Excellent cast, with exception of Churchhill actor, excellent story, screenplay was a little disappointing, not using the talent available. Cavill is always great.

Seems like after Baldwin shot and killed an operator, filmmakers now use only resin dummy pistols and revolvers as props, instead of real firearms. Which it THE RIGHT way to make the film.
However, it appears to be insanely predictable and boring story, not to say pathetic. Yawn.
