She's the cutest! My budgie has a huuge crush on Prince, she's the only "internet bird" he tries to get closer to and start a conversation, it's so funny ♥
Pet owners think they're entitled to point out the faults in other's care and methods. Honestly you're doing a bang-up job with Prince! Her plumage is gorgeous, she's lively and vocal and overall a happy bird! You're doing so well caring for her and honestly I'm taking notes based on the effort you put in. If anyone comes after you, I and your real fans have your back girlie!
“Prince is in love with violence, and her marriage is to the game. She’s married to the hustle.” I love you, girl, so much!🤣 This is one of my favorite channels equally because of you and your husband, along with Princetopher 🦜💖💖
We had a female lovebird named BeeBeep that was absolutely BONKERS. 😂 She had been living (basically feral) in someone's garage in Georgia for 5 years when we took her in. After a couple of years she calmed down a bit, but was always extremely broody and territorial. She constantly laid eggs no matter what we did, and eventually started getting eggbound. She had to undergo surgery three times to remove eggs that were stuck - the last time ended up being too much for her little birdy body and she passed. 😔 RIP BeeBeep. We miss your little birdy shenanigans.❤ Edit: Looking at the picture of Princess, and hearing that she was more affectionate and talkative, I'd be willing to bet money that she was actually a he. 😆
When people ask me why doesn’t my bird have a soft fuzzy hut and whatever(I have a male Quaker parrot). I heard that some times those fuzzy huts can be made of unsafe materials for birds and my bird is perfectly fine sleeping on one of his perches! Prince is a very amazing bird ur very lucky to have her!
The thread that huts are sewn with are often nibbled by pet birds are then come loose and end up getting caught around a birds foot or neck and if can often kill them. I had one of those big colourful boing toys that are made of wrapped cotton cord. My conure used to chew on it and one of his toes got caught in it and he ended up losing his toe. He also almost bled to death but he was staying with his vet’s daughter at the time and she saved his life. He’s sitting in my shoulder right now while I type this (minus 1 toe) we don’t have any toys or bedding made of thread.
I came home from work years ago and found my Nanday Conure Henri Haricot Vert literally choking to death because of a fuzzy hut. Unbeknownst to me, he had chewed up most of the far inside wall. Somehow he got his head stuck in between the threads. He must have struggled to extricate himself and made it worse. I walked in the door and he was holding himself up on the side of his cage to keep himself from being hung. He was exhausted. I have no idea how long he was stuck like that but his third eyelid was out. I pretty much got home just in time. It took three hours of holding him and talking to him to bring him back from the brink. Those fuzzy tents are very dangerous.
@@heidigotthoffer7177 far out dude!!! That’s so awful. I’m so happy Henri is ok. The things that they can get up to even when your back is turned for 5 minutes. My 2 conures are currently mating in my bookcase 😂😂 true story. I can hear them right now 😣
Birds that shred things shouldn't get one of those since they can get tangled up in the threads. Generally birds don't ingest things that aren't edible so they are unlikely to eat any of it, but entanglement is a problem. Also, they can encourage egg laying in females which can cause them to become egg bound or cause aggression etc. my conure is fine with his since he doesn't usually shred things, but not every parrot is that nice either their toys
Lovebirds bond very, very strongly and will attack anyone/thing they view as a threat to that bond. Prince is bonded to you, that's why she hated the birds you tried to introduce to her. Lovebirds can and will kill each other if they can't drive a rival out of their space. Prince is perfectly happy with her human family
We have a 2 year old lovebird named Freddie... thought she was a boy 🙈 found out she is a girl. And oh my gooood what an attitude 🤭. She is the boss of the house. So nice to see the Prince videos, gave us some peace of mind that our bird is not the only crazy one 😂.
I have a male cockatiel named Duchess because they told us she was a girl. I also have a parrotlet which looks just like love birds but smaller and have the same personality (little napoleons) and the only bird my parrotlet likes is cockatiels because they are so sweet and don't fight. Love your channel!! Prince has the BEST personality. I knew it she was feeding off you and your husband😍
She had to be at least 3 months old when you got her. She still had melanin in her beak. Chances are she was hatched in April sometime. I breed Peachfaced lovebirds.
Have u thought about having a hanging hammock and hanging vines in her cupboard? Where she can land and swing and sing?? Maybe hang bells or glass beads on them?? The vines could be really neat under your kitchen cabinets as well.
I understand completely. I had a bird and I had to learn that to matter what I changed or improved someone was always angry and unsatisfied. I ended up going with whatever made my bird happy aswell, and basic logic like a big cage and toys.
I looove Prince. Birds are such stinkers. My female budgie wants snuggles and then will bite my bottom lip out of nowhere lmao. I have to give her meds right now so I assume she wants me dead. I lov her. Also fuzzy huts are so bad! You want laying, hormone issues, potential compaction? That's how you get it
Ugh people just hear “love” bird and think that it’s an exclusive rule just for lovebirds that they MUST have a partner. It’s literally no different for any other pet bird.
My cousins had a female lovebird called Albert, that was a blood thirsty fearless little monster,my cousin tried twice to introduce a male friend and they not only were killed but Albert ate parts of them!
Awww great video. So cool your first lovebird lived to 16. Did she lay eggs too? Love Prince’s whole back story, Thanks for sharing! Ps I feel you on showing the cages… omg the comments. Too small, wrong perches etc. But we got the reverse on the fuzzy hut comment you got, Ppl commented NOT to not have them, They actually are dangerous bc apparently birds chew them and can get impactions. None of our birds ever chewed theirs but we ended up removing them.
Hello from another BC bird owner! I also have a lovebird, his name is Petrie, he's 12. He's always been very good for a bird (not very bitey, doesn't attack my family members, would rather sit and destroy paper instead of scream constantly), so I feel very lucky. Anyway, quick question: Do you keep some of Prince's feathers? I have a clear Christmas bauble that I've been putting shed Petrie-leaves into.
It's so true about lovebirds being absolutely chaotic. Mine is a tiny dinasour. My male one is such a sweetheart though. I got him for my female bird but she bullies him so much i keep them seperately
Your a great birb mom, i wouldnt worry a tiny bit about what people in comments think, you do everything right! My only thing is it would be nice to have a friend for them, but your able to entertain her plenty. I work long hours so i didnt hesitate to get a second conure, otherwise id feel horrible for leaving a bird lonely 9+ hours a day. Nothing bad to say about you, keep up the great work ❤
Sure, there are standard requirements for animals but animals are also individuals!! I can't keep track of all the things I've bought for my gerbils that are recommended in hobbyist groups that they just don't care for and don't even use. I love that you had a Princess and now a Princetopher! I love watching videos with this little chaos bird ♥
I have 17 love birds. They all sleep in cozys safely. Its a security thing. I also have, dammit, a whole lot of babies right now. I give them all cozys to sleep in. I found them to be safe. I get them from Amazon along with toys, rope and wood perches, minus the spiders!!😂
I have a girl parrotlet and the bite thing is real. If I’m holding a paper towel to clean a poopie- my bird flips her shit biting the paper towel and if she hits a finger - there will be blood 🤣
I used to work at a pet bird store and honestly the smaller birds bit worse than the big guys. Like, if a macaw bites you can flip them over and use that beak like a handle to control them, but a lovebird or cockatiel who is determined to do damage is almost impossible to stop
I love prince. I have a red cheeks love bird and she is mean her name is lola when she gets out she tried to attack the Amazon parrot and Quaker parrots. Many blessings to you and your cute family 😊❤️✝️
That's surprisingly similar to my budgerigar. When (s)he came home, Loki was young enough for me to mistake the gender. In fact, I named my budgie Loki due to the mischief caused (flying all over the room and hiding under cupboard). But ever since I learned of Loki's true gender, I would sometimes call her Lokita.
Also fuzzy huts are soo bad. they can igest the fibre and it can get stuck in their tummy which can cause an obstruction. So you were right to not give it to her!
Great Video and love ❤️ from 🇬🇧 and I have a Cocktail loves the breakfast Cereal Cupboard. Its strange but also i have been Three phone cases and I have had no buttons on my remote controls,we love them.
A stray cat showed in my neighborhood, he was living on my porch/stoop. He had such swag, I called him Stoop Dude. I brought him into the vet to get him checked out. I tried to find someone to adopt him since I had other cats and he didn't like cats. Long story short, I ended up keeping him, his name morphed into Stewart, but his chart at the vet still says Stoop Dude. 😉😂
I don't blame you on the cage thing. I got such hell on facebook for something related to birds and it was beyond absurd. I've had birds for as long as i can remember but everyone's an armchair expert. The amount of people who were parroting crap from a content creator that in reality is questionable at best was amazing. and when you showed them, they'd just double down "she's the expert" etc. wasn't worth it. another anecdote was this one video of an african grey being sternly told to put somethnig down and then doing it. the comments were absolutely unhinged saying how awful the bird mom was etc etc.
I AGREE WITH THIS, I see things like this EVERYWHERE, nothing but judgement 😐 there will never be a time were you will not get a single negative comment, some people are so sensitive 😐
Can we Please have more creepy clips and videos of the stuff that happens in your home like the one with the music/sound playing… with of course Prince’s reaction to it all ? 😂🐦
Have you ever given Prince a windchime? Or a little pie pan hanging by a string? Or marbles, like the big ones, (like 50¢ piece size)? I think that would be adorable and hilarious to see!!! 😂
Price is insane I’m super obsessed with your feather baby! I also have 4 birds 2 budgies, a sun conure and an Indian ringneck. I use to hand raise lovebirds when I was a kid. It’s absolutely adorable to watch your videos. 🖤🖤🖤 birds are crazy but really awesome little terrorist. 🤣😍🖤
Ah, the egg, the absolute gender reveal of a bird. I’m dead ass serious your bird acts exactly like my 3 year old female husky 😂 my husband said hey that bird is like our husky 😂😂 attitude, chaos and destructiveness for days and days. I usually think it’s hilarious (the attitude and smart assery) my husband doesn’t usually think so 😅😅
I just needed to hear about you trying to introduce Prince to other birds because I was so sick of people try so convinced that Prince was unhappy and aggressive because she didn't have a bird partner. I see a happy, feral child with her humans. I enjoy watching you guys hype her up, but especially your husband. He always seems to be the best hype man ever 😂
No birds should have a hut, it causes hormonal issues for all parrot species. My kid and I love Prince. We've got two budgies named Theory & Praxis that we were told were males but turned out to be females. So their pronouns are he/him lol.
Whenever she screams Princetopher, it always makes me laugh cause Prince is chaotic little floof
She's the cutest! My budgie has a huuge crush on Prince, she's the only "internet bird" he tries to get closer to and start a conversation, it's so funny ♥
I need to see this
"...blueberry, or some sh*t Iike that" 😂

I enjoy the three of you. Your patience and love with each other's antics is the best! Thanks for sharing the chaos ✨
I love that you’re in Canada and that you and Princetopher are making it big!!! Yaaaas Canadian queen, and Canadian Prince!
We, all my lovies and dogs and hubby are in Ontario!!
Lovebirds bond very, very strongly and will attack anyone/thing they view as a threat to that bond. Prince is bonded to you, that's why she hated the birds you tried to introduce to her. Princetopherrrrrrrrr 😍
Just ONE minute and that explains EVERYTHING about the demon birb. :)
Not even 15 seconds in:
No! Don’t eat that!
Prince: D!E
"She's in her loving era right now..."
I absolutely LOVE Prince's sass singing.
This is so great! Thank you! I have a bird too and love bird videos.

I want to teach my bird to do that
My cousins had a female lovebird called Albert, that was a blood thirsty fearless little monster,my cousin tried twice to introduce a male friend and they not only were killed but Albert ate parts of them!
I use to have a female lovebird, she was so full of violence and loved to copy our noises.
I miss her and these videos remind me of her
*pushes up glasses* Actually it depends on when in June she was hatched could be a Gemini, and that’d explain a lot
Having to put her in her cage because she was causing trouble is so real, omg 😂
Prince the lovely bird 😂😂😂

what a cute sass fluff

My loveboys, Shimmer and Zapp, are infatuated with her shenanigans. 😂

How do you control the poops??? 💩
Also I love how yall have a small parrot as a child 😂
I love prince. I have a red cheeks love bird and she is mean her name is lola when she gets out she tried to attack the Amazon parrot and Quaker parrots. Many blessings to you and your cute family 😊❤️✝️
I would love to watch an episode of ParrotsandPoodles podcast with you on it. You should totally collab.
As a bird mom, who has always raised them since young babies, I have to say Prince is well taken care of!! Don't listen to the haters gurl❤❤
Awwww, so cute !!!❤❤❤❤🦜🐦🐦🐦🐦

It’s prince’s world. We’re all just here for her entertainment
I have the same lovebird has you! But it's a male. I also have a red faced green lovebird, it's a female.
oh COURSE the little Diva Princetopher b-lines to pose right in front of her glam head immediately as vid starts
Please more of forbidden cupboard chaos ❤❤❤
nooooo stop! my birthday is July 22nd!!! so that would make her a cancer unless she was born far enough back in June she's a gemini
I love Prince she's hilarious 😅😅 I had 2 parakeets when I was a child and they were great 😊

Do you come up with Prince's lines after filming, or is that what she's saying to you in that moment?
Prince doesnt talk she edits the talking in the video to make viewers happy like me :)
I feel ya I have a Male cat named Nina
I had a peach face Love Bird when I was a kid. Best Friend. 🐦
Could you tell us about you and your husband? You play off each other so well, it'sadorable. How did he feel about Prince when he met her?
I totally get the whole finding out your bird is actually a girl way after you have named her haha (I have a female parrot named Brock 😂)
But what species of lovebird???
I just needed to hear about you trying to introduce Prince to other birds because I was so sick of people try so convinced that Prince was unhappy and aggressive because she didn't have a bird partner. I see a happy, feral child with her humans. I enjoy watching you guys hype her up, but especially your husband. He always seems to be the best hype man ever 😂
Check out Eric the Legend if you have not already. Hes a Corella from Australia. Naughty guy like Prince, that naught girl.
How do you deal with bird poop everywhere?
😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I want to know what are the tricks she knows
Prince hes a Fischer lovebird right
Prince is a girl
"Mitch, can we take the lovebirds? They didn't hurt anybody." Can anyone guess what famous classic horror movie that line from?
Have you ever got a Prince tattoo request?
Princetofer..... Lucifer.... The emotion and attitude is the same, really 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
18:02 💀💀😭
lol sounds like my parrotlet.. isn't she kinda small for a lovebird? I thought they were bigger
I didn’t actually watch this video I just clicked on it to give it views
No fuzzy huts? one millllion years dungeon!
No birds should have a hut, it causes hormonal issues for all parrot species. My kid and I love Prince. We've got two budgies named Theory & Praxis that we were told were males but turned out to be females. So their pronouns are he/him lol.
