    Yeah....you wonder how he can write such dark, painful lyrics, being so young. His "soul" must have been in some dark places before. Epic lyrics. Such pure, raw emotion in his voice. His song "What I've Done" is just as powerful, if not more. Just 2 chords, and his voice...telling an amazing story of love and life lost. Do yourself a favor...put on some good headphones, turn the lights out, and turn it up LOUD....and prepare to get lost, and emotionally wrecked, as he takes you on a journey. The most powerfully emotional song I've heard since Elton John's "Tickin". Absolutely amazing.

    We are going to look back at this video and song as the beginning of a new generation of music. Better hang on to this one. Sawyer is the new Dylan, only better.

    The first time I heard this song it was a recording from an appearance at a small local TV station in upstate NY. Sawyer was only 15 but his voice was too powerful for the station's audio equipment, causing distortions. It's nice to hear him belt it out with proper equipment in a relaxed setting.

    Sawyer never ceases to be amazing, his soul walks you through the gateways of his heart to a beautiful place he sees himself in.

    His voice cuts through my soul, and I just wish him all the best. When he sings I know there is an intelligence who created this world. God is evident, for no accident could produce such feeling in a voice. It must be by a grand design, I look forward to see what you will become.

      trevylove I agree. We can think on deep things, feel deep emotions, love so deeply, have free will, can speak, reason, and come to know God because he created us in his image. No animal can do this.

      Rather, no accident could produce such beauty. God's design is evident in all creation, especially in human dna. From one pair, we've come to have so much diversity. Everyone has different abilitues that they are born with, though it's not always easy to see what they are.

      He's singing it slower, it seems, and that gives him time to add so much more dynamics. His voice is golden.

    Great song, just needs to do some speed jammin with it.

    • @neveronetofollowneveroneto6307
      @neveronetofollowneveroneto6307 6 років тому +1

      Speed jamming? What is that supposed to mean? This is a sad, melancholic and introspective tune, and with its lyrics it wouldn't make much sense for it to sound otherwise.

    • @boblayton7434
      @boblayton7434 6 років тому

      It sounded terrible, terrible. His talent should be moved upward where he can shine with the stars. I don't know if anyone ever told you this but you look just like him.

    • @neveronetofollowneveroneto6307
      @neveronetofollowneveroneto6307 6 років тому

      I'm using a photo of him as my profile picture because I'm a fan. It's your prerogative to think it sounds bad but lots of other people would disagree and it just goes to show you don't really understand his music all that well. He has several other songs that are more upbeat, but this one is not meant to be upbeat at all.

    • @boblayton7434
      @boblayton7434 6 років тому +3

      Well Alicia thank you for being so forward with your comment, I do agree that we can disagree, however we do have something in common......we both like his music.

    • @konstantinatoga4403
      @konstantinatoga4403 6 років тому

      +Bob Layton I don't think he needs to be moved upward with the "stars". And I believe that he doesn't either, that's why he's gone independent. He probably just wants to stay true to himself and the reason he started making music in the first place, not to go big but because it's what makes his soul happy. And that's something that matters more than having a large fanbase because it enables him to write more authentic and heartfelt songs. :)
