Regarding more resellers being out there, I think times are just tougher and everyone (including myself) is trying to supplement. And reselling is a fun and educational way to do it. For retirees like myself, it keeps the brain active and you meet and talk to people and get yourself aired out instead of staying cooped up in the house.
I’ve been there years ago. I had a sale and sold everything I had due to circumstances. It was overwhelming and sad to see all my treasures and memories gone. I’ve slowly started to replace my stuff over the years.
Wow you found some goodies🎉🎉🎉and yes that lady with the sweet puppy seemed overwhelmed by what was happening. Especially bc they knew it was a flip not a family coming into the house. Blessings on her heart😢
Always been a collector that buys and sells a little but got into yard sales mainly because of your channel and the knowledge you share. Been about a month and haven’t found much after hours of driving and what I have found I have barely broke even, spent $150 through your Chanel at bubble boy, drive to post office once a week because of your teachings and I absolutely LOVE IT! Thank you for your videos that bring up topics we all think about but don’t ask. Honestly I’m looking to do this part time with a goal of $500 a month so should be there just in a couple months. For me this is a hobby and never had a hobby that you can make money on. Hardest part is to find good inventory cheap at sales now. Thanks again.
I know the emotional stress of leaving your house, it’s a lot. Was nice of you to give the 10 for that vcr. Appreciate your channel and you’ve taught me a lot. Thank you Best wishes from NJ
Pickin's have been slim down here in Clearwater for a while. Not so much the product but rather number of actual yard sales. Christmas to last January were almost inexistent due to the holidays and rainy weekends. I have had a good weekend here or there but I also have A LOT to list. This is a side hustle for me, so I list quick sellers first. Time to start blowing out the rest. I do have about a 4-1/2 foot stack of Levis to list that should sell quick if I list them right (pick them up for a $1 or $2, so there is still some meat on the bones) . keep posting because I always learn something to buy (still not touching purses). Thanks for the free entertainment.
Oh that poor lady it must have been so hard to see people in her house going through her stuff. I would hate that. All precious memories. You were very respectful and kind too her. ❤
He's right picking has become a thing to do but I embrace the competition and am actually proud that I can show up late to a garage sale and still find money. It's all about educating yourself on all categories to find the money.
Listen Kevin, I just happen to have a male that I'll ship on an airplane, white with black ring eye Maltipoo Puppy for sale. He is a good looking pup, very smart and loves to go! I owen & raised both the mom and Dad. They throw the best looking pups I've ever raised. Every pup in the 4 liters they've had, has been outstanding! Anyhoo, I have one male left to sell. ❤
Great video! When I saw the Risk game, it brought back a lot of memories. I loved that game. I only had a couple of friends that would play the game with me. Most of my friends said it hurt their brains. They thought it was too much work, too much thinking. Lol!😮
I picked up a Zenith 13 inch tv yesterday that was never used, Still has the plastic bag zip tied to the back of it with papers , remote and all the antenna connections including rabbit ears. I got it to test out some games and then realized what it's worth. I paid a whole dollar for it. 😃
Kevin, have you ever just offered like $300 for everything in a house like the one in this video? I feel like that's what I would've done, I would've been too overwhelmed going through everything and afraid I would miss something really good. 🤷🏻♀️
I miss the intros where you cut the song short, and added that shattered glass screen and sound, it was hilarious the first time and now I kinda miss it
One question for tag sale-holders: why don't you advertise a good 24 hours BEFORE the sale starts so people know to show up? Around here there's about one advertised sale, if you're lucky, every 15 miles. If you're lucky. The only one I could get at yesterday was a big zero; their ad went up at 10AM, about when they started. The one that looked good didn't advertise it was there until at least 90 minutes after it started...and would have take half an hour to get to. Anything worth buying, for me, was likely gone an hour before the ad even went up. I don't get it.
I'm not sure about other folks, but I have had sales I thought I put up, but Craigslist wanted an extra verification. By the time I realized, it was time to open.
*I don't blame you for the popularity of picking and reselling being so popular. I blame our education system not teaching more skill based jobs like plumbing or welding. There are so many pickers because what else would they do?!*
Social media in last few years has about killed this hustle. Everyone has their phones out these days looking stuff up which is not something you saw just 3-4 years ago.
April 19th Great Treasure Sale will feature many of these items from the last sale. whatnot.com/invite/commonwealthpicker
The lady holding the dog seemed sad selling her things. I felt sorry for her and wanted to give her a hug 🤗
She sold her house, I know that is an emotional process 😢😢❤

The lady with Willy looked sad that her belongings were being sold.
I agree, I felt so bad for her, sitting there watching all she had accumulated over the years. Very sad.😢
Yes I felt so bad first her

Kevin, those keyrings..OMG! I have that many or more from my two sons being all over the world. They always bring me one back..!!!

What a great private pick! I'd love to pick up that Bucs keychain.
Oh my goodness how sad. Bless her little heart!
I have often wondered if Burnt Chimney/Hardy was good for picking. Smyth Mountain Lake has to be some money.
OMG, the Midnight Special! And The Bus!
Ahhhhh….love it best when you pick alone. ♥ Keep bringing us content!
How did he collect all of that?!?! I understand thinning out to move, but wow! That's a lifetime of collecting 😮 Makes me want to get rid of more lol
I wish your videos were longer, they seem so short . I really like your videos .
Great content as alway, Kevin. 😊
Cary is rubbing off on you. Knocking the books over like him 😂
Good to know a lot of people! Wow

Man, I remember playing Axis and Allies in college! 10 hours games lol. Great stuff
Some good finds indeed 😊
Great Job😮😅 Good Business 😊❤
I thought you'd never get that VCR. It was like solving a crime with how many people you had to interview for a price.
Great haul 😊
Kevin you missed a good one! That baseball coin from the mint is SILVER, not plated or sterling! We have one in our collection.
Yeah I got it. Sold it yesterday.
I would have never put that license plate down! Only $10-$20 but I knew someone would have grabbed it
Did you purchase the Brooks Robinson card? I’m interested in it.😊
OMG! People can’t turn the lights on themselves? That’s ridiculous. SMH
I felt sorry for that lady sitting on the steps watching all of her Belongings be sold.
15 bucks first time buyers.❤❤❤Honest Tim for President Kevin for vice president.vote early vote often 😂😂😂two honest men
Willie was the best thing at the sale 11 minutes in. The lady looked like she was being medically forced to downsize, which often sucks.
Definitely enjoyed it! Thanks!
Stopping by to drop a like and some comments to support your channel 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌👽👽👽👽👽👽
Lol guess the seashells might be a lil light weighted to be a book end 😂
That made me about as sad as I could be, cause I'm going to be in the same boat...
Love love watching but my brain can’t think as fast as yours lol (great videos) ❤

Garage sales aren’t a thing here in uk , has it always existed over there ? I’d of loved seeing the sales in the 90s
Garage sales were way more prevelant in the 90s, but eBay wasn’t really a thing then
It’s been a thing for a long time. Still is. Hope it remains that way.
