Romano is the real winner. What the fuck was up with the bell? 2 of the 3 challenges were calisthenics based and Romano still won. Adam is pretty cool though. Awesome battle either way.
+Branden Peter It's a great way to finish the race. There's a lot of butt-hurt fans out there complaining about the end. What made Romano lose was that he ran the wrong way to get the bell lol.
You can see Calisthenics doesn't supply a way to get very strong legs, but I was still very impressed with his squats considering the size of his legs! This was one of the best Strength wars so far
he won just squads loool, not to mention that hes not tall as Adam and hes got more kg, shorter arms and legs and you say he won?? Take that all and you will realize that adam destroyed him ;)
+yesthatislife Romano's got more bodyweight so it was harder for him to do the pull ups and dips. Also, powerlifters usually don't do pull ups and dips, while these exercises are basis in calisthenics. No wonder Adam was better at these two, but Romano made a comeback on squats. They should have do deadlifts instead of pull ups, then Romano would won this game. Respect for both of them though.
+yesthatislife lmfao you know that bodyweight excercises are harder the more you weigh right? You just contradicted your own argument XD Your other arguments are purely retarded. You wanna seperate all athletes by their limb length now? LOL
canackcanack harder, more weight, yess BODYWEIGHT, you hear youre self BODYWEIGHT, if you have shorter arms its much easier to do pull ups and dips because of the amplitude moron. You dont have a God damn clue about anything, i Bet you cant even do a pull up LOOOOL
yesthatislife A am pretty sure a persons body weight would play a bigger part then just being a bit taller then the other person when it comes to pull ups
Thanks to everybody for positive comments and feedbacks! I also respect the bad ones really and as I said in my before FB post I take this equal as well - I am IN for any Re-match - but this time by my rules - when Romano has to come by train to my city and battle me on time We choose - same I did now. I would also like to remind to everybody that street workout is much more than these 3 movements and with no real preparation 1 year after full bicep rupture after vacation and with all circumstances on the spot I BOW to my body that it was even able to go through all this hell - as it never failed me when I needed. My main purpose in all vids where I appear is to motivate people to work harder on themselves like I do - unfortunatelly many people just care about having their heroes, entertainment and about competition - I am letting those be as my true message unfortunatelly did not reach them at all. Whether is it teamromano or teamadam - we all are on the same boat as we love hardcore workouts and thats what counts - never be afraid to do what you love, never be afraid to fail, take any challenge and work hard for it, fucking earn it! Than you are champion no matter what happens. Its always You VS You brothers. Everything is Beastmode.
Congrats Adam on your first win in Strength Wars. After watching this video you really motivates me to do more weighted calisthenics. It may be tough but hardwork always paid off if you never give up.Looking forward for your next strength wars battle in the future! #teamadam
adam u are a true human...they will never understand untill the go and back realize the greatness see the history c who u were mentored by and who mentored that person and who mentored that person.these are real roots..this is pushing and pulling strength at the finest...keep pumping your jersey kefir...everything is and will always be beastmode
That was a really interesting match, but they ruined it with the bell. Romano finished his squats first. Also 2 of the 3 movements were clearly calisthenics movements. They should have included deadlifts so that they both are proficient in 2 of them. Romano is the winner for me.
+3terminatorgr Romano weights more, is way stronger in squats, he is shorter witch is an advantage for the pull ups. Romano trains pull ups and dips, So the battle was fair
Colingueisen 3 Kgs do not make that much of a difference. You can't use his height as an excuse, because in strength sports, athletes compete in weight classes, not in height classes. Also, Adam trains squats, that doesn't make him proficient at them, same goes for pull ups and dips for Romano.
+3terminatorgr And if they insisted on 3 stations, then squats in the middle. Should not have 2 upper body consecutively. But then again, Romano too strong.
But that wasn't the challenge. It was get done with final rep and touch the bell. Adam recovered a tad faster and was faster mentally and got to the bell quicker. Those were the rules they both agreed to them so, no excuses. Romano is a great athlete and I very much respect him, it was a great competition but, this time it goes to Adam.
Congrats to my boy Adam ... but damn Romano you have my very deep respect ... Atomic ... supernova comeback on the squats blasting through ...u def repping the powerlifters to the fullest ... BLESSINGS TO BOTH OF YOU
+Meckanimal Adam was managing his energy better on the pull-ups and he sort of had the strength advantage too, but you know that Romano does squats a lot more so that was his huge advantage.
+WGGamer7 haha really? I doesnt matter who won! It shows that no matter what kind of workout style you practice, if you train hard enough you will eventually get to a very high level of strengh and performance.
+Oodama Chisengan Lets Say Truth! Thay were even and this battle was awesome. Need more Street Workout vs Power Lifting but with deadlifts and muscleups!
@@CodeF416 Amen. The bell was ONLY used during this single competition, never before and never again. They knew it was a bullshit win and said "We can't do that again". WTF does running 10 ft. to a bell have to do with strength?
Andreas Rasmussen yes but its not only about having six pack.... real core strength is something else. The only people with even stronger core than calisthenics are the boxers and kickboxers and that stuff
normally in this battle Romano must win cuz he did 3 more pullups that were considered as no reps while they were correct reps but from what i know adam raw just came back from an injury so it makes it equal
+Noa Man WORKOUT for me there is no point in 2 judges because they see the things diffrent and because of that romano was punished for 2-3 reps that were in my opinion good and adam had a few bad that was counted!I dont mean that was intentionly but stillthings like these are crusial in competition like that.
+Noa Man WORKOUT -Adam Raw beat him in two workouts Romano only beat Raw in one, squats. We have to take into consideration Adam was probably burned out by the time he did squats because he did the dips and pullups so quickly.
that bell was a stupid idea .... even tho i was going for the calisthenics guy its fair to say the other dude won he pushed through every rep like a boss!
yeah that's about Romanos pro habbit not to throw the barbell away once he got up with it. And he had not enough experience to avoid bad reps in previous moves.
Doesn't matter. Bell was a part of competition rules and both athletes agreed to it whether YOU like it or not. So the win was legit for Adam. He had the mental capacity to finish the job unlike Romano.
Adam won because when he finished his squats he moved in front of the barbell and romano went behind, so he got to the bell quicker. Romano also had more no-reps, so he got punished for it - which is fair I guess. To me it looked like Adam Raw was tilting his chin up more than Romano during the pullups though. But I guess it's within the rules :)
I did over 30 the first time I ever did a fitness test, was 125lbs and had never done any strength training besides some push-ups and martial arts. Wrestlings makes you pull hard I guess.
I agree that the bell was pretty pointless. but the definition of rigged is that all parties knew what was gonna happen and I'm pretty sure that Romano would lose on purpose if you don't like the way strength wars is done then DONT FUCKING WATCH IT!!!
Was ne megageile Folge. Hab noch nie so mit gefiebert wie bei dieser Folge. Schade, das Romano nicht schneller war am Ende. Gratulation an beide Athleten :)
+Alphaludak Romano Did you watch the same video?? Adam Raw told you its about doing what you like, its only next training.. WHO CARES WHO WIN ?!!! both of them.. open you mind dont be stupid man..
+Alphaludak Adam Raw smoked him in the first two exercises thats 2 to 1 Adam won fair and square, and Adam Raw does not train backsquats very much so the fact that he was able to bang them out at all like that is pretty impressive
I think since Romano racked it first, he wins in my opinion of what should'v been the rules. But I feel Romano forgot about the bell and was just so fixed on busting out those squats!
yeah 2 calisthenics movements, 1 powerlifting and romano still won (he finished first)... Romano defenitly a better athlete! But Adam suprised me on the squats... Well done to both, romano is remakable and still undefeated in my head...
+ensayofr Maybe you don't know what powerlifting is but it has three movements, Squat , Bench and Deadlift. Not pull ups or dips, so 2/3 were calisthenics and 1/3 powerlifting. About your comment "requires to lif weights" Adam cleary said he also does weighted calisthenics. plus its meant to be strength battle after all so the exercises need to be weighted or else it would become endurance or speed. Think before you comment.
HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!! Respect to both - Adam easily mastered those dips, but I knew Romano would be able to come back with the squats (although it was very tight)! Thank you Bodybuilding Rev for this awesome battle!
+Sebastian Swiderski Exaclty! One of the reasons they are starting to do longer ads and YT-Red, is because almost half of all the UA-cam users have, over the years, installed adblock! - It went from about 10% to 40%. I turned mine off. To help other channels grow, like I want people to watch my channel too! :)
Remember when you had to ring a bell to show people you finished your last bench press? Neither do I. You're done when you put down the weights. There's no bells to ring.
Lol wtf guys who Cares who won and who lost. Both these guys are clearly winners. It shows that both styles of training is very effective. Nothing but respect.
Romanooooo, what a beast. literally did 1.5 times as many pullups and still finished squatting first. I wonder if it was on purpose to let the other guy have it in order to keep the calisthenics crowd interested. Otherwise, notice how Adam's spotter approaches him immediately after his final rep, motivating him to quickly rack while Romano's spotter stands back and watches him walk it in on his own
+treemustach The idea is to use the remaining energy of their legs to run for the bell. It showed how much the activities effected his coordination, stability, and agility.
For anyone saying that this fight was unfair because of the bell, this fight was as fair as it could get. There were rules and they were simple; ring the bell once you're done. It doesn't matter if Romano was the first to rack the barbell, that doesn't make him the winner. I think the idea with the bell is that it was a little extra challenge for the competitors. Cause after doing all those 3 exercises being all tired and out of breath, I would imagine that the last thing they wanted to do was run over to the bell and ring it. But they both agreed to the rules, which means they knew what they had to do, which means this was a fair fight.
Awesome video and super tense. Regardless of who 'won', this competition is clearly a testament to the athleticism of both these men. I watched both competitors several times because there seems to be a lot of contention about how each performed--especially at the PU stage. With the camera swinging around and clipping the top of Adam's PU bar, it was really difficult to tell what he was doing at times. At 5:51 it looked like Romano got his chin over the bar but was not given the rep. At 8:34, it's hard to tell if Romano even did his last PU rep by getting his chin over the bar. (I watched several times and I can't say he did conclusively). A fixed camera, from a side angle at the bar-level would provide a better view of the pull-ups. I agree however that ringing the bell a few feet away is a pretty shitty way to decide who won. Maybe if they did shuttle exercises (back and forth sprints) x10 before ringing the bell, or something similar, to test their remaining endurance. Either way, kudos to both Adam and Romano.
+Belkar Bitterleaf hahahha well im not , im just fair , all the strenghtwars before of this finished when someone ended the last rep of the last exercise , and if you have eyes and brain you can see it, romano didnt run to the bell because he was thinking he ends the and won the battle when he ended the last squad like all the strenghtwars of the past
+ensayofr Well to me Adams squat looked questionably shallow, they didn't have anyone watching the hip crease that closely. I'm pretty sure 10/20 of those would not have passed under IPF judging where Ramano was on point. Overall i was impressed with the calisthetics performance, but if 2/3 of those events were lower body, this would have been a blow out.
Listen carefully piece of shit, he says he only does bodyweight movements with weight added, so squat with weight is weighted calisthenics, but he never trains overhead press or bench press or curls or something like that,
What the fuck could his disadvantage have been? Romano's form on pull ups and dips was much worse than Adam's, and was definetly not what they said was required to count for a rep, yet almost all counted for a rep. Also he was only better at squats. Romano weighs 3kg(6.6lbs) more than Adam and Adam is 5cm taller. Romano had the advantage in anything weighted because assuming they have the same body fat percentage Romano had around 3.5-5kg(7.7-11lbs) more muscle mass than Adam.
+Matt Kaye mate, its not about more or less muscles. a Street workout athlete are good at things you do out of the gym, like Chins up dips push ups etc. The other guy is good at gym stuff like bench squats etc. you gotta learn the difference in what you specialize in...
Ringing the bell was part of the Competition and both athletes agreed to it. It's obvious Adam had the extra energy to complete the challenge cause Romano was burnt from the squats.
Who crosses the finish line first won, doesn't matter if you're first runner at the end, but second guy steps over the line.... that's how it goes in sports, every competitioner knows the rules.
they both win even tho Romano finished his last rep first we still have to consider that they both were 1 sec close Romano is a Legend... and seeing another competitor coming so fucking close to him us Awesome ! Nice work Adam , you too Romano
This should have really went to Romano. At 12:35, Adam stepped underneath the barbell rack while Romano stepped back away from the barbell, probably because folks were helping him secure the barbell to the rack. As such Adam was in front of the bell and just had to walk to it. Romano literally had to walk around the rack...As many folks have stated, bell ring really was not needed.
Damn! Romano has the heart of a beast! He finished first, but made the mistake of stepping backwards instead of forward, which cost him distance and time.
as long as he pulls himself high enough for his chin to reach above the bar, the pull up counts. the judge on the left doesn't know how to count a proper pull up rep. either way, adam won fairly, very strong and well deserved.
The production quality is insane. I salute both Adam and Romano for showing genuine heart in their performance.
maybe you'll be on next?

Awesome battle either way.
no three of them are in bodybuilding。 last one is the one adam not familiar with
+The Atheist Socialist Vegan The bell was to see how coordination and speed were affected by the previous workout. Very clever test design, actually.
+The Atheist Socialist Vegan romano practices dips and pullups
+Martin Rudolph This should be about strength, not speed, that's why it is called STRENGTH Wars, not SPEED Wars.
They're not calisthenics based because they are lifting more than their body weight
At the very least this was tie, but Ramano finished the last squat first and probably forgot about the bell.
***** Yeah, it definently was. Though i'm pretty sure he would have won, if he didn't make that stupid mistake.
***** Yeah indeed, very surprising actually. Romano seemed *unbeatable* in the other matches :D

that was too close in my books both won!
Insane I can't even do 20 pullups with a 130 pound bodyweight
Min Young Kim rofl
I did over 30 the first time I ever did a fitness test, was 125lbs and had never done any strength training besides some push-ups and martial arts. Wrestlings makes you pull hard I guess.
Aaron Tellez-Amado thanks for telling us that story bud
yea over 30 pullups with not strength traning tell that to someone else :D
@@ufc990 when your body weight is to low you can do so many pull ups without any training
Yeah.... that was bullshit with the bell. That dude Romano killed it.
Romano looks like mix of hardwell and tiesto:}
Yash true as fuck 😂😂
Much respect to Adam , I knew he had it
Really, a bell was the deciding factor? I impressed he kept up with Romano but Romano fucking won lol rigged.
*was
romano won... hes the best...
I agree that the bell was pretty pointless. but the definition of rigged is that all parties knew what was gonna happen and I'm pretty sure that Romano would lose on purpose if you don't like the way strength wars is done then DONT FUCKING WATCH IT!!!
+Wes Atkins fucking chill bro. I've only watched strength wars a few times. This was the first one I was disappointed with.
It was also for energy.. Romano didnt have energy so he lost :p #CzechForTheWin
The way Romano came back at squats with all the lead Adam had.. EPIC MAN..
This one is the best episode ever so far.
Adam made our community shine.thank you Adam!
by the way Romano great athlete good work guys !!
Adams ref was a lot more generous
yea especially on the squats
+Ian Fritz yes u r right ... not fare
The refs were exactly the same but Adam had way better form on everything he did, so there was no reason to call a fault
+Kent Oliver nah the pull ups look at adams ones some didnt go all the way but romano did the same if not better but they were counted as no reps
+Yousuf Bee exactly
This is the best episode I have ever watched in Strength Wars keep it up.
gratuluju Adame!!
For god sakê, that was One of the greatest Power battle that I've ever saw.
+Felipe Cardoso HELL YEAH THAT WAS GREAT SHIT BRO BUDDY FORGOT TO RING THE BELL FAST AWWWWW I THINK HE WON
Was ne megageile Folge. Hab noch nie so mit gefiebert wie bei dieser Folge.
Schade, das Romano nicht schneller war am Ende.
Gratulation an beide Athleten :)
Did anyone see Adam got help at the end which made him win, whilst romano had to put the bar back himself 12:30
bulshit romano hat gewonnen dumme Regel mit der Klingel
+Alphaludak ja ja natürlich
+Alphaludak Romano Did you watch the same video?? Adam Raw told you its about doing what you like, its only next training.. WHO CARES WHO WIN ?!!! both of them.. open you mind dont be stupid man..
+Alphaludak Adam Raw smoked him in the first two exercises thats 2 to 1 Adam won fair and square, and Adam Raw does not train backsquats very much so the fact that he was able to bang them out at all like that is pretty impressive
+Srs Bsns No its German.
He said that Romano has won and that with this bell is a dumb rule
+Srs Bsns your mom is a racist
The host is literally a god
I want to see a fight between Kali Muscle and Kirill Sarychev...
THE LEGEND! THE KING! THE FIGHTER! Adam is the real motivator.
Why even include a bell what is the point. Romano should have won he went HAM at the end
+FitNess LC Adam regularly squats
good for him !
HOLY FUCKIN SHIT!!!
Respect to both - Adam easily mastered those dips, but I knew Romano would be able to come back with the squats (although it was very tight)!
Thank you Bodybuilding Rev for this awesome battle!
So winner is based on ringing a bell? Lol
Should'a been a draw, Romano's a beast
Why doesn't any of these Yt Ads have the Skip Button anymore. Fking annoying.
Nom-nom-nom -_-
+Alan GG Download "ublock" It will block the ads.
+Alan GG Adblock, download adblock :D
All you need is adblock for youtube. but think of it that also means no (less) money for them.
Romano is fucking insane I cannot believe he done those squats without stopping
great video and performance, they are both winners - Salute my Lil brother #AdamRaw #EverythingIsBeastmode
Lol wtf guys who Cares who won and who lost. Both these guys are clearly winners. It shows that both styles of training is very effective. Nothing but respect.
what about using a break dancer vs calisthenics or street workout?
Why would a dancer even stand a chance?
Romanooooo, what a beast. literally did 1.5 times as many pullups and still finished squatting first. I wonder if it was on purpose to let the other guy have it in order to keep the calisthenics crowd interested. Otherwise, notice how Adam's spotter approaches him immediately after his final rep, motivating him to quickly rack while Romano's spotter stands back and watches him walk it in on his own
Damn Romano !!! The Best
12:42
NO SCOPE!!!
Rewound a bunch times to come up with: Huh? Did she not want a zoom-in on her butt?
for calisthecnics pull ups is the gold standar, for powerlifting squats is one of the main exercise, this video proves it
Pretty nice match, how about a remacht in 2k16 with some stuff they not train.. But nice work B-Rev ! and Adam and Romano.
Epic fight. should be a draw
3J02N yeah. I think so too
You can see why the bell was necessary. After doing all that the one last test was who can walk 4 steps without passing out to ring the bell
Adam, hello from russia! You are big fellow!
рузке
It was even. The only difference was that Adam was faster to the bell. That should not be a part of a test like this anyway.
A true warriors in the flesh !! My greetings from #URUGUAY !!!
in the finish, the street workout was helped to leave the bar in the position, the powerlifter was alone, this is a cheat.
That was close battle
I don't care who rang the bell first.
I had so much fun and this is amazing
I prefer that the presenter would shut up a bit
terrible final! but i dont know why romano doesnt run !
+FaboteGamer he was tired
+Colingueisen i see that romano wait for him
FaboteGamer i don't think that romano is that stupid for wait, of course he was tired
+FaboteGamer He smashed out 20 in reps before the guy that had about a 10 squat headstart. His legs would have been burning.
+FaboteGamer i think he forgot about ringing the bell
One of the best Strength wars
yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Adam is fucking BEASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT !!!!!!!!!!
Congrats for run faster to a bell
+Diego salas Congrats for being butthurt
+Karlo Čimbur real WEIGHTED calisthenics power, yes i agree
First time in this channel, this was beast... the metalhead guy doing the hype is so funny, subbed!!
I only do calisthenics... tons of vids him squating WITH WEIGHTS!
Listen carefully piece of shit, he says he only does bodyweight movements with weight added, so squat with weight is weighted calisthenics, but he never trains overhead press or bench press or curls or something like that,
+Petko Apostolov "bodyweight movements with weight added" that's what he said
Dumbest comment I've seen in a while.
+TomToX13 agreed this guy is so dumb hahaha
+Tural Ismailov
bro that`s really retarded statement
Romano is the best!
He was about to win with all the disadvantage
what was his disadvantage ?
Adam is the best
Modest guys and a great battle. It was very close. Excellent job.
salute to the both of the titans...but romano's comeback was really EPIC !!!
What? Romano finished first but adam won? he sure spent a lot of time practicing his bell ringing to get this totally non debatable win
good to see some people can see the real winner!
I knew beforehand that Romano will do all 20 squats without stopping......he never wants to loose....thats the spirit. Way To Go Man!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS WAS FUCKING INTENSE!
That can't be called anything other than a draw!
That was technically the Powerlifter's match. He DID finish first. Yes, by milliseconds, but he still finished.
Ok that was epic. But Ramano won.
calisthenics just overall looks so much more natural and beautiful to watch. The movement and the form
they both win
even tho Romano finished his last rep first we still have to consider that they both were 1 sec close
Romano is a Legend... and seeing another competitor coming so fucking close to him us Awesome !
Nice work Adam , you too Romano
Romano won. Bell idea was a big big shit!
How isn't Adam's pullup technique cheating? He swings his chin in order to make it over the bar everytime.
as long as he pulls himself high enough for his chin to reach above the bar, the pull up counts. the judge on the left doesn't know how to count a proper pull up rep. either way, adam won fairly, very strong and well deserved.
Exactly, i was surprised as it was counted
Romano did everything correctly
+samuel odan if anything, romanos last pullup wasnt with his chin over the bar...
theoritically this is proper technique xd
