UPDATE: You can put Titan and Prime Masters in both of Jetfire's cockpits (one in the main, two in the upper). Also the arm cannons can come apart for... reasons, as well as the long black guns. This was not in the instructions so I can't forget something I didn't know about in the first place. My apologies for not being able to figure out every hidden feature of these things, sadly, I'm human. Thank you :)
Ya I was meing with mine and the main copit gray thing popped out and I saw that a titan master could fit. Mmm idk why they did not put it in the instructions... odd

jetfire, springer, apeface, flywheels.. true.. but siege hound, wheeljack, sideswipe, does not look like a masterpiece. with thier reimagined alt modes...more like a generations toy

When hasbro really puts love and true passion into something. You get good stuff like studio series, 67% of the prime wars trilogy (kinda disappointing IMO) and the WFC trilogy. (I mean this toy-wise)

Commander class definitely suit the Star Saber that we were robbed of in Power of the Primes. Though if they will announce one I hope it will be soon as I’m considering the Masterpiece Star Saber.

The sigil switching gimmick is my favourite. I loved it ever since Armada Sideways. I just wish the armour's chestplate had the same ability.
I'm fine with it, personally. This is a Marvel Comics Jetfire for me, and the comic book one didn't have chest armor, at least as a Decepticon.
I'd like to see other people have it, though.
Also a cool reference to when he showed up in G1 when he was originally a decepticon before joining the autobots

I really love how the G1 Jetfire/Skyfire is just the VF-1S Super Valkyrie from Robotech/Macross

A licensed copy, Hasbro was making the Robotech toys for Harmony Gold for the TV airing of the show in the US, G1 Transformers would kill off most of the cast later that year.
I'm loving the Ironhide FX parts running gag. It has not failed to put a smile on my face yet!

I have to say, those effects parts look pretty damn good.
If I wasn't almost done my G1 Masterpiece collection I would have been buying these Siege figures. They look fantastic for toys.
Got mine the other day and I absolutely love him! Hasbro really outdid themselves this time, what an amazing figure! My only real complaints are the wrists and shoulders could've pegged in a little tighter but it's super minor. A little floor polish should take care of that. So far he's the highlight of the Siege line which is really saying something considering how amazing it's been on the whole.
It has a waist rotation! I'm sold. I was originally going to skip it because I didn't think I could do dynamic poses with it. now i'm gonna have to pick one up.
If I didnt have the Leader Thrilling 30 Jetfire, I’d get this. I do love though how they really went with the G1 style in this one, the one they had to go with because of the always awful rights issues.
The extending the legs part gave me mad tigerzord vibes

Every time i'm on the fence about a transformer i look up a review and I get the joy of watching Emgo review it. I get the info I want and some nostalgia of the intro and remebering watching his reviews when i couldnt by my own transformers.
All we need now is Commander Class Sky-Lynx and Commander Class Broadside.

I still think this version is better than the new MP version. I LOVE the armored up mode he has with the face mask! Im regretting not buying him when I had the chance.

He may come in with Earthrise or the third subline of War For Cybertron next year. Still wating on Jazz, Inferno, Coneheads, and Blitzwing also.

That chest plate & the way his arms fold out of his chest give me Armada Jetfire flashbacks.
That being said, this is a thing of beauty. Which can not be said about the aforementioned Armada Jetfire.
All I know is..mine arrives tomorrow. And I'm as giddy as a little boy at Christmas.
Skyfire will look INCREDIBLE on my shelf....if and when I get him. I'm broke as a joke.

I have this figure and it is OUTSTANDING. Definitely the best of the Siege line, and by quite a margin. Maybe even my favorite Transformer figure ever. I am thankful that I managed to snag one of these at retail cost before they sold out (the only ones I see online that aren't pre-orders are marked up significantly).
Never really liked the VF-1 Valkyrie as part of the G1 toy line. Don't get me wrong, I love the design itself and Macross in general. I own three of the those figures - a VF-1S and two VF-1A's. Great toys. But something about the design didn't fit well with Transformers, even considering that the G` line was Frankensteined together to begin with. I've held off on buying a Jetfire figure until now, as none of other ones were truly satisfactory. This one is.
I love the way this Jetfire manages to scratch my G1 nostaglia itch and yet at the same time brings something new.
Emgo gives a great review as usual. I can't think of anything to else to add except that Jetfire is even cooler in person. If you can find one for a reasonable price, don't hesitate.
Jetfire's effects parts are the first ones released in this line befitting Megatron's fusion cannon. Use a medium spread combined with the narrow shot. So awesome.

I wondered what Prime would do with Jetfire since he was too big to throw.
I picked up this guy last week (for almost half off) thanks to finding him in a sale, really cool figure and right now I am displaying him as a Decepticon (mainly because that section of my collection seems a bit light) with the face mask as I prefer it to the animated face for that allegiance. I also grabbed Rodimus Unicronus (for less than a third of his original retail price, gotta love Black Friday sales and good Google skills heh). not as good, but he's cool as well, I just wish his ankles weren't as loose since he keeps falling backwards. Still, Jetfire is very nice and glad to have him at long last.

Why in the world would you replace Phoenix with this? This is a good figure but it's too small for Masterpiece and it doesn't quite have the right aesthetic...but it's close.

I can see Optimus hanging off of Skyfire like that and coming at Megatron feet first. That is definitely something that would happen on the original tv show.

Finally Hasbro got us a Jetfire who looks in bot modes as in the cartoon and towers over the rest of the transformers.
One of the best points of this figure is that you can put him on the Decepticon or Autobot side.

Best JetFire made in my Opinion even over the Third-party Phoenix.
Just picked up mine today. So happy with him. It’s funny but I never realized how G1 Jetfire looked so much like a Veritech Fighter.
It's not that he looks like one, he IS one lol.
Which in turn makes him one of the best G1 figures, I remember always being in awe of him as a kid. Never had him though :(
