Thanks, I got really lucky, it's always a crap shoot what I can get into a venue (security), how the acoustics will sound in each venue, where my seat is, anyone in front. People don't seem to understand what it takes to get these videos. Every show, every venue, every circumstance has it's challenges. This show everything was perfect and I was perfectly situated. Re:differences....now you see how it's possible to go to as many shows as I have and STILL feel the thrill of Haley's performances, she changes it up. She has spoiled me for many other artists who have a 'game plan' that they follow at every show. My 50th show was coming up so I asked Haley's management if they could let me know of any shows coming up. They let me know about this 'special' show 3 months in advance, gave me the impression I'd have access. I was hoping the PAVE show would be my 50th because it was in Chicago and it would've been great to have it in Haley's home town. Instead, this was my 50th show. When it was time to fly to the show, it was still up in the air whether I would get access or not, even hours before the show I didn't know. Her mgmt told me I 'might' be able to get a couple songs, but he couldn't guarantee me access. As it turned out the venue people were really chill about it. I guess after years of doing this, , "Tusk" has a decent reputation. I got the Meet and Greet so I got my pick of where to sit as it also included early entry. A friend let me borrow his 4k Minicam and I got another fan to watch over it while I video'd the close up from center stage. This was a great show to be my 50th :D
@@HaleysTusk I can certainly understand why you don't like missing any of her performances. There are always some differences, sometimes very marked ones. This is another example of that - much gentler to begin with and different embellishments. The jazz influence and her love of jamming. It's no wonder she so frequently hooks up with Casey. They're on very similar wavelengths. Getting "lucky" doesn't seem to describe the situation adequately. You're making your own luck, and myself and many others are very glad that you are when it results in videos like this.
@@gynack I've always contended that 'luck' is the ability to take advantage of opportunity when it comes. Everyone gets opportunities, not everyone can take advantage of it. I had been taking art and related classes for years, airbrush, oil, watercolour, graphic design, heck, I've even built 3D computer models (which is where I learned about framing a shot). Finding Haley gave me the opportunity to actually put some of what I learned to use. I was able to take that opportunity. But this? This goes beyond my definition of 'Luck'...maybe if I was only able to do it for a year or two, yeah, I got lucky, but I'm entering my 8th year following Haley. This 'experience' is something else completely, as an agnostic, I don't necessarily believe in higher powers or the like, but it's hard to explain what i've been fortunate to do all these years and still love doing it! @Trevor Morris I think Haley touring Europe again is a very good possibility. She uses Scott's/PMJ's tour manager and they often have multiple stops in the UK. I can tell you from seeing 3 shows in Europe, Haley loves touring over there, all the new experiences, different cultures and languages . I did have a mini epiphany just last week, my videos are almost like millions of people seeing Haley through my eyes. I guess that's why I try to make the videos as good as I'm able...it was actually a very humbling realization, good thing I like Haley, huh? LOL cheers
