I have a very simple routine, for those who are interested. I simply wash my face with whatever soap I happen to have on hand including (carbolic/Sulphur soap/ + clean rag). Then I tone with agua oxigenada + cotton pad. Then I super clean with tea trea oil. This has been my routine for years now and it really works. My skin is glowing and more tolerant to the elements. Keep in mind that I have oily skin and live in an isthmus. I know that this routine may not work for everyone, bit hopefully it will help someone to keep it simple and save thousands. The most expensive thing here is oil.

Dermologica is the TRUTH! They have travel size kits for $40 at ulta if you can’t afford the large bottles. The large bottles cost like $40 each give or take and last longer but the travel kit is a good option. A little goes a long way!
TIPS FOR TOWELS: if you don't want the paper towel rolling and breaking on your skin and leaving fluffies behind, I really recommend having sets of face towels that you use each time you wash your face (so having 7-12). Once you use it, you wash it, so it's good to have multiple so you're not washing all the time and just wash them in a load together. Cotton is just softer on your skin.

How do people know which product is the most effective if they're using multiple products at once? Do you add products little by little after using it for sometime?
Each product most of the time has its own purpose so you’ll be able to see the effects on each specific concern within 8-12 weeks .. like cleansing you can feel how your face feels right away to know it’s right for you, a hyperpigmentation serum, you’ll see your hyperpigmentation fading within 8 weeks etc. Not every product works for everyone though so you’ll be able to tell pretty quickly if the products not right for you as well because some products can produce zero change or make things worse if it’s not suitable for you.

When I was a teenager I had acne so bad. I used Oxy 10 everyday and my skin cleared up except the blemishes. The next step I took was good facial routine. My blemishes disappeared. I've been sticking with my facial routine with products that work for my skin and drinking lots of water. All I do is Cleanse, hydrate and moisturize and use satin\ silk pillow cases

Do you prefer the Youth to the people cleanser or the dermalogica? I’ve been using the Yttp cleanser for a few years now and recently got the dermalogica to maybe take its place as my main cleanser. I would use both but my skin tends to act up when I use too many different products.

It’s an oil type of consistency so you wouldn’t apply it before the hydrating products or serums bc it could decrease absorbency
