Pure devotees always speak the truth, no matter how unpalatable it may seem to be. Most men, including myself have put our faith in women and really believed them when they said they loved us. 😅 Like Srila Prabhupada said, women are a lot of trouble and botheration. Better to stay away.😇

A child knows his father only through the mother because she is the authority. Krishna is known as Yashoda Nandana, Nanda Nandana. Without Yashoda maiya's permission even Lord Shiva could not meet Krishna. When mother Gandhari cursed Krishna, even though she was not Krishna's own mother, He considered the curse as a motherly kripa or love and willingly accepted it. Krishna has given the mother a more exalted position than Himself.
SB 11.8.13 padāpi yuvatīṁ bhikṣur na spṛśed dāravīm api spṛśan karīva badhyeta kariṇyā aṅga-saṅgataḥ Translation A saintly person should never touch a young girl. In fact, he should not even let his foot touch a wooden doll in the shape of a woman. By bodily contact with a woman he will surely be captured by illusion, just as the elephant is captured by the she-elephant due to his desire to touch her body.
