gai actually debut as singer.. he was in some singing competition and he didn't make it. few years later he appear and join a rapping competition and won the competition. so that's why he's really good in singing.
This show's concept is to blind match a younger gen singer with an older gen singer. So what happens is the younger gen singers will get a list of 4 songs they have to prepare for their part only. During the show, the old and young gets paired up randomly then goes up to the stage to perform their own part (without prior rehearsals). From this 1st blind performance together they both will decide if they want team up. You can see Coco and Gem, they managed to get paired up.
I would be very grateful and appreciative if Rozzette comments on the original singer of this song, who is Qin Chin especially when he was young. Looking forward for that.

If they don't doing in unison, they'll be criticized for 各唱歌的+没有默契+太保险+偷懒，ie singing separately +no chemistry +not taking enough risks + being lazy.
