Two good looking park ups ,well done Claire . Felixstowe seems to come up trumps with something different around every corner , nice drone footage by the way . Oops someone let the cat out of the bag about the cakes 🧁🧁ha ha ha . Thanks for sharing your lovely video, take care 🚐👍
Hi there Eric, so sorry for the late reply, somehow we missed it....getting old lol. Absolutely, Felixstowe was brilliant and what a fantastic little town to vusit, so much to see and do. Glad you enjoyed the footage and yes, somebody definitely let the cat out of the bag lol....the cakes were great! That was the only problem with Felixstowe, between eating cake, fish n chips and ice cream, there are too many seaside confectionery shops, our diet was rubbish whilst we were there, but bloody tasty haha. Hope you're well our friend and all the very best.
Hey guys Felixstowe is a a lovely place Aq and you had great weather. Well done Claire getting the park up 👌. The good weather seems to follow you guys maybe you need to come back to Skye for the summer so we are guaranteed, some good weather 😜😝🤞🏻. I got my first hip done last Thursday and was home in Skye on Friday. 👌now it’s excercise time a wee bit though we than I thought but booked in for next surgery in three months time 🥴👌. Will get there one day at a time. Good music as always take care and keep safe you guys ❤❤❤
There you are, all back from the hospital and hopefully not in too much pain and well on the road to recovery👍❤️💙. Ahh, we wish we could head your way this summer and bring the sun with us! Yep, we don't know how we do it, the sun just seems to follow us👍🌞😎. You certainly will get there one day....hopefully in 3 months and this can all be put behind you. Keep soldiering on, things will get much better soon....the beautiful Skye mountains are waiting for you👍💙❤️🏔️. Take care and sincere best wishes. Xx
Ah, good old Bawdsey, yes a fantastic place; this might be familiar to you: ua-cam.com/video/07VxABTqDgI/v-deo.htmlsi=FEJsIZ48MvIGOW9U We have certainly spend some time there and like you say, a beautiful setting for photography. Many thanks again and all the best. 👍💙❤️🚐📷
Fab upload Tony and Claire love the backing music great idea with the night heater 👍 we all need Cake sometime 😂 lol Thanks for sharing your Adventure 👍🚐🇮🇪👏
Haha, indeed Kieran....we all need cake👍😂🤣. Thank you, glad you enjoyed the music and the little modification; a simple one but bloody handy. Thanks buddy, hope all is well with you. Take care and all the best, Tony and Claire. 👍🇮🇪💙❤️🚐
Hi, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the comment. Yes, we've been told that during the summer it can get really busy. We'll probably avoid visiting then lol...no parking spaces! Many thanks again and all the best, Tony and Claire.
Lovely shots from Cobbold Point. My brother lives in Felixstowe just half a mile from there. It’s a great place to go for a stroll at any time of year. Glad you enjoyed Felixstowe, it’s 12 miles from our home and we love a visit there with our van 🚐👍🏻 Trev
Indeed it is Trev, Cobbolds Point is a great place to visit and go for a stroll. We've probably passed each other on the road our friend, we've been up and down the A12 and A14 many many times lol. Take care and safe travels when you get to them. All the best, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Hi,yes Felixstowe for Hubbs and i is the best, try the Regal chippy next visit, cooked in beef dripping no less!!You can also leave van at Hawich and catch foot ferry across to Felixstowe also which takes dogs too,bonus.Thanks......
Hi, many thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave the informative comment. Great recommendations, chips cooked in dripping, lovely! Many thanks again and all the very best, Tony and Claire. Ps, we're both hungry now lol.
Hi guys. Felixstowe was such a good find for you, some lovely scenery for you to capture with your cameras. The weather has been good for you aswel. Looking forward to seeing where you end up in the next vid. Take care guys.
Hi Geoff. Haha, indeed, we were very lucky with the weather, one minute it looked like we were in for a rainy day, and the next.....boom, sun! Yes, Felixstowe was an interesting place for our photography, it certainly wasn't easy, but was very enjoyable. Many thanks for watching as always Geoff, take care and all the best.
That was a great informative and entertaining video as usual guys 👍Looks like we'll be paying Felixstowe a visit for an night or two in the future, forgotten what it was like, thanks for pointing it out guys 🙂👍. Also, great idea Tony re the Jackery for starting the CDH. We suffered on our Cairngorms snow road trip in February, and had to resort to starting the engine to get the heater going a few times, as you say, it's the initial start up that's the biggest power draw once it's going it draws very little power and using a Jackery (or similar - ours is similar) for the initial start up is a great idea. Keep up the great video's guys. 👍🙂
Hi Colin, for some reason this comment has reappeared after we responded 🤔?? Bloody UA-cam lol. Yep, put Felixstowe back into your bucket list, we'll worth a visit👍. Yep, the heaters take some vavavoom to get them going and if the battery voltage takes a dive during start up, it will throw the error code. With the Jackery/Eco Flow being able to deliver 10 Amps continous charge, it made sense to fit a 13 amp male cigarette plug...no more problems. Hope all is well with you. Take care and all the best. 👍💙❤️🚐
And another great one . Now we've got it on the big screen you've gained another fan . Sylvie's sat here saying how much she liked Felixstowe and where is it . We used to warden a camp site at Mildenhall so weren't too far away , but never went . Now on the bucket list . Take care both
Well then buddy, you must give Sylvie a great big hug and thank her for allowing us onto the 'big screen' lol. Ah, Mildenhall we know very well, just up the road from our old house. Yes, worth entry into the bucket list, Felixstowe was a great place to visit. Hope all is well with you both. Take care and all the best as always.
Hahah cake 🎂 lol Claire grassed you up Tony. Love love Felixstowe ❤️ really reminds me of my past home were I visited alot when I was younger. Great video guys and I'm glad Claire's dad is enjoying van life. A T B,hugs 🫂 to you both 🩵🩷🧡
Haha, indeed, I got totally grassed up lol, no hiding from the cake eating there, Claire couldn't wait to tell the world haha😂🤣. So glad that the vid has reminded you of 'good old times', it's a really great thing to hear👍💙❤️. Yep, Ian certainly has the bug, you'll see him on our next trip lol. Many thanks for watching as always. Take care and big hugs back. 👌💙❤️🚐
Hey up Lee, hope you're well. Thank you for the kind words buddy, it's very much appreciated by us both. Glad you're here for the ride! Take care in sunny Cornwall and all the very best. Tony and Claire.

I was so chilled we decided to stay another night Like you we were surprised how lovely Felixstowe is.. so much more than a container port !!!
Haha, brilliant. Hope you had a great time there. Yep, funny old thing, we were only meant to stay for the one night also lol. Indeed, it is a chilled place and one we'd definitely go back to👍. Hi Tony and Claire. You Tube seems to donits own thing from time to time😂. All good here thanks. 👍. Ive messaged you re the CDH/power supply, hope thsts ok? Great video again guys just a quick question iv spoke to you b4 about batterys I'm thinking of installing a 2000 w inverter what size breaker would you recomend between batterys and inverter thanks chris&sheila
Hi Chris, many thanks. OK, so the first thing to ask is what systems/appliances will you be using the inverter with? Next is, what is your leisure battery capacity? The equation is: 2000w / max 13v = 154 amps. Allow for any inverter output discrepancy, 180 amp fuse. Another consideration, the inverter should be of a Pure Sine wave output, otherwise some of your appliances will not work or you can get a 'strobe' like effect. Another consideration is a Portable power station (yep, more expensive) but it doesn't have to be a top of the range one. The reason why I say consider one is; your Leisure battery/s have a cycle life and an inverter will obviously subtract total battery life. Folks with deep pockets who have banks of lithium ion batteries (which have much greater life and deep cycle capacity) can run inverters all day long. These are just my thoughts, however, if I can help in any other way, give me a shout here or on Instagram buddy. All the best.
