- Celtic Spirit Pipe Band rocks the 2012 Amherst Scottish Festival once again! The opening tune you are listening to is "High Road To Gairloch". As you can see, we love to entertain the crowd! Thanks to my friend Marlene for running the video camera for me.
This is one of the first tunes I learned in the College of Piping, volume 1. However, I only know the first two parts of the tune. Still a great tune though!!!!

Sorry but can i know what he said? Before "quick march"..im a piper from malaysia and don't know the exact word💀
Hi Aminah. The wording used is a command to the band. "At the halt, quick march" is the command used to inform the band that the tune will be played while staying in place without marching. This is a common command amongst pipe bands while performing in a circle.
Great job! Can you tell me what tartan that is? It resembles the Keith modern tartan.
The Tartan is the "Flower Of Scotland" pattern.
