I played my portal at the barbershop while waiting to get a haircut. There were no issues at all . I had the option of using the barbershop wifi or my cellphone hotspot .
Nice video mate! Just one suggestion for future videos, when you're offering to showcase how speakers sound, mute the background music for that section so we can focus on the sound coming up from the device itself :)
Do you need to have your ps5 on to play on your portal? Also im considering buying it because i never get the chance to play on my tv so i dont know if i should get it.
Yes, you need to either have it on or in rest mode to play on the portal. As for use case the scenario you gave is among the reasons people get the PlayStation portal. It would be ideal for you given the circumstance you just described
Tbo, this is the first time I've seen this device. Looks pretty cool and def has plenty of screen real-estate for its size! Great video as always! Cheers - Jass.
I like its concept but Sony can make it even better if they open up it to cloud gaming and not limit it just to remote play. Glad you enjoyed it though
I could have misheard but it sounded like you payed $329.00 dollars for the device. Sounds like what they were charging on Amazon, Walmart, etc. PlayStation direct is $199.99 I can overlook a couple flaws when paying $130.00 less. Scalpers went wild out the gate with this one.
I agree with that although the portal isn’t in development Sony just need to add more features and will be a good competitor in the handheld gaming market

Thanks mate I’ll put that into accounting when doing future videos
Side note, but a tech UA-camr with a green home is so refreshing to see! Your lemon lime maranta is SO big & gorgeous
Thank you. The plants help soften the boldness of the tech and make the space more inviting
