Great video! We were down there this past June, just north of the lake on the main canal that connects Ida and Osborne. Caught several nice peacocks on topwater. There current constantly in the north south canal. Fantastic fishing.
We use a wide range of spinning reels but price wise it’s hard to beat the daiwa 2500 bg Personally the quality from Shimano Stradic 2500 is my go to though.
@@Adventures101. ah ok so most of the rods we use for our charters are from a local south Florida brand called vense. Those are the rods that are gold in color. They’re very short and specialized for kayaks. Depending on what you want to do though there are obviously benefits to different rod styles and lengths in which case I’d point you towards powercore custom rods , Warren who builds the rods, is excellent. As per the reels they’re the daiwa bg series
