- The NYPD is investigating after a 19-year-old was stabbed to death in the Bronx after a fight over a parking spot. FOX 5 NY's Kendall Green has the story.

It may have been due to the type of trauma, as I said the same to myself 😢so sad.
Lincoln is a trauma hospital which handles crime emergencies. Even thou the hospital close to that scene is "Bronx Care" only 4 blocks away EMS could of taken him to Bronx Care. They do handle extreme cases due to violence.
Also this incident is about 2 blocks away from the "Mt. Eden subway" shooting AND the drive by shooting just on Tuesday. smh

People are too quick to start an argument and fight, I ride the subway and I try to keep alert. People need to respect each other's space.
Oh yes, losing your life over a parking spot. We have all come across that guy/gal in the lot that swoops in and steals the spot you were patiently waiting for. Then they curse at you like it was always theirs. I wonder how people live like that all day. Carrying that inside you. I laugh it off and go park elsewhere. One day that person will meet another guy having a shittier day than him. And justice may or may not come. Me personally, parking spots, getting cut off on the highway are far too petty to lose a life for. There’s enough going on already to be bothered by petty things I’m just trying to live as long as my father or even remotely close.
HATE those people that put orange traffic cones in front of their house and want to fight you when you move it to park to car. IT IS A PUBLIC STREET, YOU CANNOT CLAIM IT JUST BECAUSE YOU PUT A CONE THERE!!!!

Because it isn’t a trauma hospital i suppose they don’t have the equipment or expertise needed to treat the patient. The Most EMS can do in the ambulance is keep him alive until the doctor can take over. So sorry for the young man’s family and their loss. May God grant them peace and comfort during these sad times ❤
@@janay9227Yes, same thing with a co worker of mine whose son was stabbed and died on Gun Hill Road. Montefiore is right up the street, but they are not equipped to handle that, so they took him to Einstein hospital.
@@deezy81Einstein isn’t a trauma hospital either, for all that they could have taken him to Jacobi up the block.
You don’t understand because you don’t work our job. As EMS, we can’t just grab a patient and drive to just any hospital. There are criterias and when it comes to traumas like that, WE HAVE TO transport to a trauma center. A regular hospital isn’t going to have the experience and equipment at hand to deal with it. Barnabas and Lincoln specialize in trauma.

Parking is absolutely insane near there. Ive seen my fair share of freakouts on the block. Doubled parked without any discretion, on the sidewalks, blocking hydrants etc. list goes on. It got worse with the influx of migrants. The business owner (who pays her DUES to operate a store front in nyc) has complained numerous times and nothing was done to clear up the parking issue. It's as if those "reports" are fall on deaf ears. Also, I do not see 1 single traffic cop walking up and down these streets giving tickets out to these vehicles.....I wonder why lol but you see them so much in middle class communities that are easier to target and ticket without any incident... #notfair

NYPD has to try and do something about the hoarding of cars with no plates, out of state plates this is only going to escalate. Set a task force to tow no plate vehicles and enforce these out of state plates not where they say they located.
