Thanks for the video! We just found out they are required for float tubing in my state. On behalf of my friend who doesn't know how to swim, but just got a float tube, what style and possible brand of PFD would you recommend for her?
Thank you so much! I am a beginner and this is exactly what I'm looking for. I learn a lot from this video as well as so many others of yours. So beside fish spines and crazy boater, my biggest concern for saltwater tubing is current and wind. Could you also do a video about that? How far and deep should a tuber limited to himself to avoid getting in trouble? I see you only fish in harbor with shadow water only. Have you ever go to deep water like 50ft+ to target other species? How about tips for anchoring your tube in the ocean? Sorry I know that's a lot of questions in once but I appreciate it.
Glad I can helpI Thanks for asking about currents and winds - it just so happens that I have a tides and wind video in the works, so it will be up soon. As for deep, yes I have fished the open water off Island Grissom. I'm afraid I don't have any experience with an anchor as I always fish the drift.
