I started to get into sneakers with Nike but for the past 5 months I have been buying only NB : 990v4 sage green , 991BTG gentleman pack, 992 concepts and 992 jjjjhound green . I feel than cool NB shoes are easier to get than cool Nike ones ( either at release or reselling at a lower price ). I also feel they are more comfortable and give me a more mature look . For the rest of 2024, only a couple of Nike are tempting me ( sb dunk futura and AMM AJ3) but I can’t even count how many more NB I want to buy 😇
I kinda feel Nike is a lot less comfortable in the sneaker industry these days thanks to New Balance and Adidas (especially Adidas Basketball). Nike is basically a retro-driven company with their focus on older silhouettes in their vault and all the Jordan retros. Adidas and New Balance have some retro models but both of those brands also have innovative designs. Nikes also cannot touch New Balance as far as comfort!

They have but Nike is Nike and I don’t think anyone will be ever to surpass the brand and name of Nike
