I’m hoping you may have a suggestion. I have ADD and very severe depression, magnified by the loss of family members. I’m currently in a state of anticipatory grief, and my entire house is becoming a level 4 hoard. I may lose it so I have to prepare it to sell. I’m gonna try and tackle my bedroom which I wish I could show you a picture of. You would have me committed. I need a suggestion. I have an endless supply of free designer clothes. That sounds insane, but my networking group has an amazing boutique and we get free clothes for participation. I have a few failing, freestanding clothing racks. Just to clean off my bed, I need an idea of what to do with folded casual clothes. There’s no closet space and no clothing rack space. I may be able to find an empty storage bin. I have nearly no income.

Hi Deon, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation; my heart goes out to you. ADHD itself can be a difficult condition to live with; even more so if one also has depression.
My first bit of advice/suggestion is to first get help for the depression you're experiencing. It's really difficult to try and manage all of this yourself without some professional help. It can be incredibly overwhelming to do so. Based on your username, I believe that you're based in Denver, US. I found a few different resources mentioned here that you could hopefully access: www.reddit.com/r/Denver/comments/kp4zxb/looking_for_mental_health_counseling_for_low/
With regards to tackling your bedroom, it might be worth having a look through the clothes and deciding which ones to keep. I love my clothes, but due to the risk of having an untidy bedroom, I try to have a rule where if I get something new, I need to get rid of something else (through donation or selling it). This is very difficult for me, but I found this to be the only way to keep my room fairly tidy. You could sell the designer clothes on websites like Vinted or have a garage/carboot sale; they can go for pretty good prices for nice pieces!
For storage, you could try and get someone (like family etc) to help you put some shelves in, perhaps? This would mean that you have somewhere to store a few clothes off the bed/floor. The shelves can be pretty cheap - I've gotten ones which were second-hand. In the UK we have Gumtree to get items like these second-hand at a reduced cost or free; if I'm not mistaken, I think Craigslist is an option in the US.
I must mention though, the steps I mentioned above can be incredibly hard to do if you struggle with executive dysfunction and are depressed. It's so important to get some support with these tasks, especially from your family or friends. I really hope that this helps in some way; take care x

@@dnvrmom Yes, across the pond is right. And that sounds like a brilliant plan! Carry out one task at a time, if you need to, so it's not too overwhelming, and you'll get there. Happy to help x
