@@altewu17 what is the problem, with the vídeo?! Videos don't always have to show the same! Diference and variety is good, and I would give my best sleeping bag to my dog if it was colder than me!
Who needs a fire ring when you have a fire box! This is the best television in the world and comes with a sound you don't have to or want to mute. Erik this is "cowboy camping" at its best. Thank you...now I need my cup of joe.
there are no words that can describe the calmness that your video's bring to me.thank you for getting out in to nature and having the kind heart to share .
Holy cow, those are the biggest firebox stove fires I've ever seen! 😃 Actually that's one reason I chose a larger stick stove, and one that can take that heat without warping. To be able to have a mini bonfire without using a ton of wood, or digging up a big fire pit. I've used it a couple times like that, but not with such long sticks.
If we ever make it into space, or if the earth ever becomes a desolate landscape, this is the video I will show people to remind them of how beautiful nature is, how amazing a journey of self can be, and what true videography skill looks like. Love your videos as always Erik, cheers.
Hello Erik, thank you for sharing another fine video my friend. You always do an excellent job of filming. I often times allow myself to feel like i'm out on the trail again. Please take care out there and have fun.
Hi, I have anxiety most of the time of a bad day i couldn't sleep for 36 hours so when I woke up I was so happy but I start worry every day about how long left for sleep time every single minute was so stressful so I decided to work on my anxiety after 1 week first of all before I sleep I cry so hard and that actually felt like I could sleep like a baby but still was stressful idea so one day I go to camping with family whole day and it felt soooo good so I thought why I don't watch people camping before sleep since that day my anxiety reduced by 80% I really appreciate ur video and many others Thank you all 💝. btw I'm sorry for my English still working on it.
Love campfires. Love watching videos with campfires. Nice way to contain your fire and enjoy warmth. Need to think about getting one of those camp stoves.
A TV series in the 1960s in America had a theme song titled "Going down that Long Lonesome Highway." I have modified the lyrics a bit to read: Going out into the wilderness. Bound for the high ground and the streams. Nothing here is going to tie me down. One of these days I'm going to settle down, But until I do I won't be hanging around. Yes, I'm going to the wilderness. Going to live my way. These words apply to you. You do not just dream of living your life your way, you LIVE it.
..want you to know how perverse it is for me to enjoy your fire films..living in Sonoma county where last years fires devastated so many..and this years current 'Camp Fire' in Butte county has burned a whole community into ash...I'm under smoky sky with itchy eyes and sneezy nose..but, I enjoy your films..love the vicarious camp fire...thumbs up!
Nice Spot.........the Firebox Stoves from Steve are one of the best Hobos that I ever used. I own the small one in titanium and the 5" one also in titanium......
Lovely film Erik. The Firebox looks great, makes a warm fire and plays music! I am out tomorrow on the fells here in England with my Bush Buddy to watch and keep warm by. Thanks for the inspiration.

Isn't it nice camping in the starry night sky full of trees filled with the lights of the fireflies? Plus add your friend that would be the best feeling
Thanks again for this audiophile forest experience.. a very good feel for the mood that night.. ..i did something similar few years ago, with my 50 euro Canon. But it didn't turn out quite like this! 😂
Hello Erik! Yes, the sound recording of yours is purely superb! The feeling by hearing and watching the warm red-orange-yellowish burning flames from your fire make me feeling a peaceful and kind of gives me the coziness of being in the early winter season darkness but lit up with the warm flames from the lively burning fire, giving the safe and warm atmosphere outdoors under the open sky above! Wishing you a wonderful November month with many fine experiences outdoors and elsewhere as well! Big and warm THANK to you for sharing these moments of true wilderness and natures uniqueness you so well do capture in your excellent videos for us your many subscribers! P.S., By the way, I do love your portrait of the three-toed woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus) foraging and working eagerly to find food during the few hours of daylight! Such a rare bird elsewhere, but maybe not so rare to see in the northern hemisphere of Scandinavia?
Hi, yes you can find that woodpecker here and there in pine tree forests, but it's not so common. A very charming bird! A great november to you too! Thanks. Atb
Aurora pictures, night magic of north. My parents told me, that they saw it only once, just when i was born. All sky shining purple and green. Its hard to make a photo i guess.
The still morning pictures are biutyfull, the beat to, great idiea the extention, and that little stove of yours shure is cranking a lot ov B"T"U", sooooooo as always, superb, no fail , i tink this is a wonderfull time for outing.
Hey Erik, a question from someone who also wants to do this- How do you know an animal isn't gonna eat/attack you in your sleep or something? I wouldn't be able to close an eye all night in your situation. At least with a tent there's some psychological shelter.
Great idea, the part 2. I really enjoy the sight, sound and smell of a good campfire. Your video satisfies two of the three. ;) Is that a Bushbox XL that you are using? I've been looking for a wood burning stove like that.

Hi: Where I live there are no animals that would attack you. Im' quite safe.
What is that Wood-burning stove you use? How can I purchase it?
Hey there Erik ,,is that the fire box ti or the original one , always great again mister ,
I read all your posts trying to find which model Western Mountaineering bag and what synthetic cover you use?
Hi Gary. It's the Ultralite. The cover is just some old cheap nameless thing.
Erik Normark - in another video I see you slept outside and you’re covered in frost...is that bag the Ultralite?
@@garyo4456 I would guess it was. I have a Lynx too, that one is dark blue in color.
Is there much work to get the fire box ready to pack after a fire?
I shake out the ashes and rub off most of the soot. It's dirty but quite simple.

Tack för dina fina filmer, dom är underhållande och avslappnande. En lustig fråga. Vad har du för ratio på ditt kaffe? Alltså vatten mot kaffe.
Tack för dina inspirerande och härliga filmer! Vad heter lådan du eldar i? Är det ett hemmabygge eller går den att få tag på?

Hi! do you ever need to empty the ash in your firebox when doing a campfire
? Awesome content! =)
It's very little ash left at the bottom, usually falls out through the holes of the firebox. Thanks!
