CNQ may have a bright future ahead due to potential changes in Canadian politics. If the upcoming elections result in a conservative majority, more business-friendly regulations for the oil and gas sector can be expected, including potential tax cuts and a relaxation of environmental restrictions.
I'd like to go off-topic a bit to laud the quality of your content. I often assume - incorrectly - that the audience for content like yours is financially literate, sophisticated investors. Yes, you have viewers that fit that description, but this is the Internet where idiots live. On other channels that lack the quality of analysis that you offer, people make the most ridiculous assertions, buy or sell whatever the presenter is buying or selling, voice all manner of fallacy-ridden opinions, and have no idea if the information they've listened to has any validity. But because you are so thorough and data-driven in your approach, it not only helps to inform people, but seems to reduce the idiocy I see so commonly on other channels. I'd like to think it's just due to a better audience, but as I said, this is the Internet where idiots live. Anyway, thanks for the quality of your content, and all the best in this new year. Let's make money!
What are your thoughts on LNG shippers..along with my midstream and other energy stocks, it’s one of the areas which I m buying..they have great dividends. But they had been dropping big time until last 6-7 days. I ve been buying them since October as they have dropped…. Now they are reversing, probably because Europe is now in dire need of nat gas as of this moment. What are your views??
Adding to my position in CNQ within my Roth IRA tomorrow when the markets open. For my strategy, it’s a great long-term hold in a tax-advantaged account. (No Canadian taxes if held in a Roth IRA). I’ve held a position in CNQ since 2023. I see it currently as a strong buy.
Oddly enough I never look forward to holidays when the markets are closed. I kind of wish the stock market would stay open 24/7 like crypto but then I guess we wouldn't appreciate the anticipation of what's to come. I am excited to see what happens tomorrow with the start of the New Year. Great video as always. Happy New Year!
The problem with these other investments is they always go down together with the tech / s&p 500. I am heavy in REITs and the past months felt like this: -S&P dips, REITs follow -REIT dips individually from the market -S&P rises much, REITs slow But i am hoping for a long term regeneration, to have a fundamental dividend basis
Wait when capital will be sucked from big techs and pumped in to undervalued stocks (Like REITS for example). It is not a question if but when. This valuations of AI Stocks are ridicioulus. Apple PE is 40. This company is growing 5% year over year. It is absolute joke.

Nike, Nike, Nike . . . . is Nike a need or a want? 2025 will be a bumpy ride. Sam speaks the truth.
Nike? Meh…

@jakubjuszczak7525 yea I hope we will see a rotation. So we can pick up s&p 500 and qqq while the others offer some balance
