Happy Boating :-)
GREAT JOB boogaboo boating season is starting up. 😍😍😍😍😍🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
🍺
Make it look pretty is what you do well. Marvelous job again by you.
Be well
Thank you! Cheers!
I like when you do the little custom touches. You'd think you were a contractor or something, 😁 Nice clean installation.
Thanks 👍
Hey Paul, that trim piece looks great, good job 😊
Just wondering how do you like the new air-conditioner? Do you think it works better than the one in the bow? Is it more quiet than the old one. Take care dude 😎🇨🇦
I'm happy with the replacement unit. Keep in mind that it's 6,000 BTU output, vs the old 7,000 BTU it replaced, but works great. I'd say it's quieter as well.
As for the forward unit, that's a 12,000 BTU machine, so no fair to compare. Together they do the job well 👍
Nice job as always! Filling the holes on the boat is one of the most intimidating things for me to do. Instrument panels etc.
Yes, confidence in that regard comes with experience and from what I've seen, you guys are always up for a new challenge/learning experience with your boat!
I'm fortunate insofar as experience resulting from over 40 years of fixing and building things, both in my contracting business, as well as automotive repair before that. Zero formal training in both fields, but lots of mistakes along the way has taught me that if I mess something up the first time, I can make it better on the 2nd try 🤓
My new Dometic 12,000 BTU unit is keeping the boat a toasty 72 degrees tonight. Outside it is 53 degrees!
Believe it or not, we had the A/C running last night!! Woke up to 6°C this morning, but at least Anchor Girl was comfortable 🤓
Looks good. The flicker BTW is the difference in refresh rate of the LED light and camera. If your camera supports, trying changing the refresh rate to see if it helps.
I only have these issues with the DeWalt light. The cheap ones don't do that. Oh well, no using that light for videoing I guess 😅
Always a project to do. Our first trip is this weekend. Cheers!
Wonderful!! Let us know how you make out.
I’d be interested in the black smx control panel , mine is like a brown color the black would look so much better. Let me know if you are interested in selling it.
Leave that with me for now...
Paul, you will have a new boat by the time you have completed all your many projects
Possibly, but then what will I do with my spare time? 😁🤫
Great job Paul. Looks really good.
It was a little more than I had expected when ordering the replacement A/C unit, but on the positive side, I now have two perfectly good, spare SMX style controllers 😄
Looks great Paul! You do great work. Cheers
Thanks Mark. Not as interesting as a cruising video, but the season's still early 😎
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo I enjoy your DIY vids too. The AC was a monstrous project to take on and was great to watch. But I do like the cruising stuff alot too...
@markburley4901 That A/C replacement was made difficult due to the very cramped location of the unit. Next time (famous last words), I'll make sure to find a Sea Ray with easier access to those things 🤫
