very nice video I am a fan of robotics and I would love to make one like yours please is it possible to have the details and design to make one like in your video
Very nice!! How did your calculate the spacing for your belt ??? The reason i ask is because i am building a 6 axis cycloidal with a reduction of 46:1 in 45 mm diameter by 10 mm height with 2.5 mm thick wobble gears with an off-centricity of 1.5 mm that info is really relevant just wanted to share. Again very nice job !!!
Simple answer: I didn't! I used a timing pulley calculator I found online to do the math for me ( www.technobotsonline.com/timing-pulley-distance-between-centres-calculator.html ). You could also do the calculations manually if you'd like ( us.misumi-ec.com/blog/timing-belts-pulleys-sizing-measurement/ ). I used both just to be sure I was purchasing the right size belts. Good luck with your design!
Dude for sure the best video i have seen, keep working.Congrats from Argentina
This was amazing, loved your video.
Thanks!
Nice and clean design. Congratulations!
Thanks!
Thanks for share .Work great
Thank u i'm really interesting to see the next videos 😃😃
This is great. Love it. Keep it up.
Amazing job
I mentor youngsters hoping to get into robotics and this is great work sir. Subscribed and looking forward to your future videos.
Really good!

Very well designed. I'm looking forward seeing the other three axis and the speed and payload values.

@@StewartTechnologies thank you very very much this is a big help !!!
@@StewartTechnologies also are you using nema 17 motors, as well as harmonic or cycloidal drives ?
I'm using 3 Nema 17 and 3 Nema 23 motors with either direct drives or timing belt reductions. No harmonic or cycloidal drives.
@@StewartTechnologies oh Okidokie
Share the files! :) My son is 13 and into robotics too. You rock kid!
Just wondering how much it would cost to source all these components assuming one could get the 3d printing part sorted
What is the metal part at 6:11 called? I cant find a similar shaft coupler for my Nema 23.
It's a rigid flange coupling I picked up from Amazon. Pololu also has some high quality couplings too, I think they call them mounting hubs.
@@StewartTechnologies Thank you so much, I appreciate the fast reply!
do you use any limit switches?
Im making this project too and i need your guide, where can i find the blueprints you made these parts 3D printed ? Thanks alot
Hey cool arm!! I’m working on a project maybe u can help with it!!
