Sukuna mentioned he was an unwanted wretch. Maybe Yuji was the brother that was kept. That was wanted, and Sukuna pulled a Maki on his family.I also think Yuji awakening will have to do with the black flash. Perhaps being able to perform it at will? Or have a set number of charges he can pull out.

I hate plot armor and wish fulfillment in anime. It would be a refreshing change to see Skuna win instead of the usual trash.

@@BronenShowdown I think people are to influenced by anime and novels so bring them more in line with reality. for example the powerful generally would not be lax and allow for a counter kill.also the problem if good and evil.heros and demons and such.were heros though a load of different resources are poured into them ultimately they have the same flaws as they serve and more so because they represent collective unconscious (recognised hero)were a selfish character should understand themselves,and are more independent meaning they are less affected by the society they come from.this is because they carefully consume the information around them.were a hero can't.
