In this work I used two methods together in the fluid art work. One is controlled and another spontaneous, to emphasize the movement in this work.
With masking tape I preserved the paint on the canvas where at the same time it allowed me to get rid of excess paint when tilting.
I added beautiful and contrasting pattern to make the work more interesting, by pre-dipping metal balls into black paint.
Amsterdam Acrylic Paints:
Neutral Grey
Naples Yellow Green
Greynish Blue
Gold Yellow
Lamp Black

Super cool Helen! Nothing like new ideas for creating art. You've got me thinking about taping the sides with the openings in different places. This is a Beautiful piece as well!
Thank you very much for your kind words! 😊💐🎨 I made the openings on the sides to get rid of some paint, otherwise the metal balls would not glide as there will be too much paint, but I didn’t want to “loose” the paint too fast. 🎨 happy pouring! 💖🎨💐

I am new here. Since i started watching your videos. I'm just in awe of the art you create. I was wondering if you had a video on how you mix your paints, etc? I would really appreciate knowing how you mix them and what priducts you use. Please and thank you.
Thank you for your question!
Yes, I do have a video on how I mix paint with a medium. But in my new works I don’t use a medium, I mix paint (Amsterdam) with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio for metallic colors, and I use ratio of 1:1.25 or 1:1.5 (paint:water), depending on the technique you use. Thicker paint for ring pour and split cups, thinner for swipes and Dutch pour. I can advise you to try different colors and proportions, as different brands have different consistencies.😊
How do you mix your fluid paint for pouring
Thank you for your question! 💐 lately I mix my paint with distilled water in the ratio of 1:1.5 water to paint, and metallic paints 1:1 ratio water to paint, no medium and no glue. 🎨 happy pouring! 💖
