Back in '85 I was too young to own my own car, but all the cats said the test of a good stereo system, was this song at highest volume, usually a Trans Am or Camaro and no distortion. 40 years later I've got the record on my home system. No distortion. Everything Rob Ludwig produced is magic. And hey Sting!
This SACD was HORRIBLY brickwalled when it was remastered. The 5.1 layer on it sounds amazing but the stereo mix is just plain awful. The original masters from 1985 sound so much better
Ein Wahnsinnswerk von Dire Straits.....Und eine Ausgezeichnete Qualität
Danke fürs anschauen.

Thank you for watching..🤗
Beautiful CD player ✌️. Edit: sound on this end is incredible..
👍
I'm probably being prejudiced, I know... but the sound of the LP gives me more goosebumps... what's your opinion?
In this case the SA-CD might be better. It is a native DSD recording anyway.
Do a blind test
This one sounds incredible to my ears. Mellifluous. Thank you.
@@fnd111I highly doubt this record was recorded on DSD as the technology was not invented yet.
Es gibt Leute die stehen auf Vinyl, ist etwas wärmer im Sound...Aber als CD auch empfehlenswert
Many thanks! Excellent, finally a barn burner🤘🔥
🤗

I do own a few SACD discs from BIS records but no SACD player.

Sadly, I do want my MTV from the 80's.
