I agree with what you say with the tires but since I live in Southern California these tires are amazing. Excited to see the setup with the new wheels, especially the tire size
I got good news. My car is here, just waiting for it to get cleaned up and tinted, then the finance part. So good to see it in person, and it looks way better in person than in videos and pictures
What’s the msrp on that? We’d like to keep it around 50k or less. Also my fiancée is obsessed with the new large infotainment center that the Telluride will have like the EN now haha.
The alternate wheels for my Veloster N are 18" Rial Lucca black machined. They continue the look from the 19" rims. I went down in rim size for the same reason as you; bad roads. I ordered mine from Tire Rack with TPMS sensors. The new sensors paired right away without any issues. Now I swap back and forth as needed.
Wish I could help with finding the tpms, but you can also just not run them during the winter. I did that with my WRX and just dealt with the warning light being on. Saves you money too
If you're thinking of getting a Telluride, you really should check out it's also refreshed platform mate, the 23 Hyundai Palisade. Same exact powertrain and chassis with slightly different suspension tuning, and arguably an even better and user friendly interior. We have had ours since 2020, and it has been flawless in just about 50K miles. When we got it, we also had our eye on the Telluride, and I didn't know much about the Palisade at the time. Come to find out though, Kia was charging way over MSRP, and we got the Palisade (at the time) for substantially under. Of course that was before the Auto Market started going bezerk. Good luck.
Definitely a great car we’re considering as well. We both like the styling and the interior better on the Telluride, but that is a very close second on our current list. Appreciate the feedback and suggestion!

I spoke to my long time tire guy, who's now mobile and he said the 225/45/18 is .25" taller, so that's the route I'm going for winter. The Blizzaks in that size are $893 OTD.
They might not be the cheapest option, but Tire Rack does have sensors for the EN. I hope you get the Telluride, they have to be losing money on that thing. Just like the EN, you get way more than you pay for.
Those tire racks have a lot of bad reviews from other owners. I was able to snag a set of oem’s on Amazon thankfully for less than 180 shipped. And yeah we really want the Telluride lol
I would suggest also looking at the 2023 palisade. They added a ton of tech for the 2023 refresh, they are easier to find and typically you will find them with less or no mark up compared to the telluride. Good luck car shopping sucks right now 😬
If I said we were down to 2 cars to choose from the Palisade Caligraphy would be #2. Plus we know someone that would for sure be able to get it at msrp for us, I think we both just like the Telluride a bit more.
Yeah kind of do have a hook up but I just can't push for a Telluride. I shouldn't have to explain this to you, but the Palisade is the better choice. Did you see the new face lift Palisade? Now didn't matter to me as I have a 2019 limited and always thought it was better looking. Telluride looks like a multi hybrid of a Ford Flex, land rover and some other vehicles mixed in. While the Palisade has its own look for Hyundai. Not to mention the Telluride is like buying a secondary Hyundai. Why by the Generic version when you can get the original. All Kia vehicles are built from Hyundai's steel, there engines and transmission, they are over looked from people who Hyundai hired. Not sure why Hyundai sold back such a big chunk of Kia back to them after turning that brand around. Anyways we sell both and if thats what you want maybe could do something good for ya
We’re definitely interested in both of those vehicles. Pros and cons to both in my opinion. We’re a fan of the telluride styling but we’re also a fan of all the tech in the palisade. However the new Telly has the new infotainment center that we absolutely love the way it looks like the EN. If we were able to get a fully loaded Telluride at msrp, it should save us a bit compared to the Palisade as well. But we’re open to ideas right now, thank you for reaching out and giving feedback. Anything around 35k is worth it imo. All seasons will likely be fine almost anywhere, and depending on the brand will also have an effect on your experience. But it’s a good option if you don’t want to buy a whole set of wheels like myself.
Good luck with the new wheels. I'll be interested to find out how they work. Shame about the Durango though. I won't be driving my "N" much this winter as I have a 2017 Ram 1500 Hemi 4x4 for foul weather driving. I plan to do some visits to Fla. this winter (Rolex 24 in Jan, 12 hrs of Sebring in March) so the "N" can enjoy the warm weather and watch her compatriots endurance race.
