Now that this review is a couple of years, do you have an additional feedback about how the glitter backpack held up? My girls are both wanting it but I am hesitant since the non-glitter mackenzies have washed and held up so well... and I want these to last at least a couple of years. Thank you!
It has held up great! She has used it for two years now and going into the third year. I don’t put it in the washing machine, but just hand wash and air dry. I just double checked it and I don’t see any places where the glitter fabric has rubbed off!! So I still recommend this backpack even with the glitter fabric! I just bought my third child her first pottery barn backpack for her first year in school. My oldest’s (the navy blue backpack in this video) does show minimal wear now, but still looks good for use and he’s going into his fifth year of using it.
😊 I haven’t noticed the glitter coming off, it’s a very good material and it doesn’t feel like normal glitter things in my opinion. I’ve only spot cleaned it and that worked well.
Thanks for the review i just ordered my daughter the exact same one cause her one she did have a the beginning of the year unfortunately falling apart its a different brand tho . This will be are 1st potterybarn backpack cant wait
I got the ombré rolling backpack w/t monogram for my kid…results = 1 week in handle is coming apart at the top and base where it’s connected to the wheel. Ironically there’s a place where the handle trolley should connect to the base and wheels of the backpack but the screw is just there…not connected to anything. This backpack is very poorly made. Lacks dividers and padding necessary to protect the child’s back and the contents in the backpack. The pocket that holds the shoulder straps cannot be closed once the straps are out of the pocket. I hate this design. Not functional at all. It’s cute tho. Based on the trolley handle and its design and material of construction, we will need a new backpack by November, if not sooner. Anyone looking at this one, hard pass please.
The clips on the outside are for the pottery barn lunch boxes they come with straps on the back of the boxes to clip on if you need more room
Oh that’s good to know, thank you!

Thanks for the review! I am looking at the glitter backpack for my daughter. Does the glitter come off at all? Have you tried washing it yet?

@@cheyennestefoniuk2755 both of them are still going strong and the blue one we’ve already had for a few years!
Does the glitter rub off?
No, I haven’t noticed it coming off. The material is nice and thick and doesn’t feel exactly like other glitter things we’ve had before.
