Why Is Usal Beach The Best Camping In California? (Lost Coast Adventure)

Usal Beach Camping on the Lost Coast is a awesome experience. Usal Road was once a lightly traveled logging road until the internet made it a famous Overlanding destination. Park Rangers seem to avoid patrolling here. It can get overrun with rowdy campers setting off fireworks, riding motorcycles and leaving garbage all over. If you pick a weekday to go there and avoid weekends and holidays you are likely to have a better experience.

Are you still running the 35x11.50 nitto tires? how do you like the, how's the wear?
Those tires are holding up really well. Can't remember how many miles are on them I will have to check. I air them down, use them on rough terrain. Tons of highway driving. No flats or any problems. Super traction off road. I put Nittos on my Wife's Gladiator. Not to much use on those yet. Nittos and Toyos are made in the same factory. I need to make a follow up video on those tires. I'm not getting paid to say anything about them. Just my opinion. Let me know if you buy some and how you like them. Thanks!
@@MuddyRuttzzI've had nitto at tires on my truck and liked them. Those were 33s, I have 35 muds now and I think it would be hard for me to go back.
@@MichaelRasmussen-x4w The Nittos are on my Gladiator. Toyos on the Wrangler. Both are made in the same factory in I think Georgia. Here is my Nitto Blog Post: www.muddyruttzz.com/post/35s-on-stock-rubicon-no-lift-do-they-fit-the-jeep-gladiator
What’s the deal with so many people saying you can’t drive or camp on the beach, and so many people camp and drive on the beach?😂
I want to head up there for Memorial Day weekend🫣
Worst time to go unless maybe you get there Thursday? We went on Memorial Day one weekend and just kept going on Usal Road and stayed at Wailaki Campground on Chemise Mountain Road. Usal Beach Campground is rarely patrolled by Park personnel. Thats why everyone does what they want.
Would i be able to drive Tundra 4x4 with a pop up camper? TiA
I don't see any problem at all. I have seen some surprising vehicles down there. Make sure you go before it starts raining because Usal Road gets shut down. Thanks for watching! More info in my Blog Article here: www.muddyruttzz.com/post/exploring-the-lost-coast-usal-beach-overlanding
