I can watch and listen to this a trillion times and it still gives me goose bumps. Sometimes I even cry because of how incredible she sounds. She has set the bar so high, itll almost be impossible for someone to top it. Thank you Beyonce. Thank you Jesus for blessing us with someone so beautiful and extremely talented who always delivers the ultimate entertainment.
Her voice is so much fuller than when she sang this initially on Bday. Lots of experience and power! Everytime I here this song, I cry. "I gotta look her in her eyes and see she has half of me and she ain't even half of me".. whew Lawd
2:39 IS SHE LIKE ABT TO CRY OR SMTH SMTH OMG SHE REALLY ABT TO CRY ON THAT MOMENT OMGGGGG The part when she sang THE BEST THAT I CAN AND IIIIIII she was like cryin fck im hurt
Shes changed the key a couple times while on tour lowered it half a tone sometimes a full tone and vice versa. The key of this song really does vary from climate to climate and depends on how open her voice is that day. The original key for this song is pretty high anyway I believe it's in F# (F sharp) the original studio version that is. This version sounds like it's in F natural.
@@Dimitribray1999 Definitely, she has more control and depth when she lowers her key. It allows her more room to do more vocal acrobatics than in the original key she won't get fatigued as much. Her chest and upper belts is one of her if not arguably her most seasoned register. Some vocalist and coaches will say her head voice is her best register. Me myself as a vocalist and from a vocal standpoint I personally like her chest register. Her runs and control in that register is incomparable. She definitely knows her instrument very well. She knows singing this in the original key won't allow her to get down to those C3's because singing high for a prolonged time the voice will get temporarily accustomed and it'll make it harder to dig deeper. Her lower notes and middle register is what adds that soul and emotive inflection that she's looking for the falsetto and head notes are just the cherry on top.
I love those little smiles and laughs she does after a little vocal improv like "oh yeah, I did that 😏"
