The real peach thieves are actually the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother of the West. Their motive is clear: every year, the Heavenly Court holds the Peach Banquet, but the number of peach trees hasn’t increased, while the number of deities has steadily grown, leading to a serious overpopulation problem. Obviously, there are more wolves than there is meat. Everyone is waiting to eat the peaches to extend their lives and achieve immortality, but there’s simply not enough to go around anymore. If they don’t distribute the peaches, they fear the deities will cause trouble. So, the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother come up with this scheme: have the monkey guard the peaches, and then blame the monkey for stealing and eating them. How "reasonable" is this explanation? Especially since Wukong is a little rascal with a bad reputation; everyone would easily believe he’s the thief. In reality, the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother had already quietly transferred and secretly stored the ripe peaches for themselves and their closest family members to enjoy. In short, Wukong is just a scapegoat. The real thieves took the cattle but left him holding the tether...
i watch it many times, even bought the dvd, love the monkey king, his make-up is so so REAL, his acting is AMAZING, his voice is so CHEEKY, and the China Gods are so REAL ! LIKE !!! this episode iwatched sooooooo many times
@@UAF_ViVithey were never able to take the whole fight, since Nezha and the Monkey King ought to become something like RA3’s Shogun Executioner (i.e. have 3 heads and 6 arms to cover 360 degrees) and in the 80s SFX in China was still unable to achieve that through 3D modeling or CAD
The pilot episode of the season (Ep. 13?) was produced in 1982, and it took around 6 years to film the 1st season (including remaking the pilot episode/Ep.13), so the season as a whole was aired in 1988. The CCTV decided to renew the series as late as 1997-98 and filming finished in 1999. The second season was subsequently aired during the Lunar New Year season of 2000.
What exactly did he do wrong? The Sea Dragon tried to trick him by offering Wukong what he thought was a weapon that would be too heavy for Wukong and then tried to take back the gift when Wukong worked out how the staff worked. That was the Dragon's mistake. Then the overlord of Hell tried to lure Wukong into a trap to keep him in hell and that backfired on him. Then the Emperor lured Wukong up to Heaven to try and trap him in a subservient role as an underling for no damn reason (Wukong was happy enough just living on his mountain with his monkeys - he wasn't invading anyone else's homes or waging war on anyone). And Wukong rightfully got mad that he was tricked and left. He didn't try to get back at the Emperor in any harmful way, he just left without hurting anyone. Then Wukong flipped the middle finger at Heaven for being a bunch of stuck-up snobs by saying "What I've got is just as good as what you have. You can keep Heaven. I'm equal to it" And the Emperor got butt-hurt over it. Wukong never started a fight with these arseholes, but he finished what they started. As it is said in the West "Don't start trouble if you don't want trouble"
@@CalamityM you've got a point...but on the other hand I think the emperor was just thinking ahead, because Wukong himself said when he was invited for the first time he planned to visit Heaven soon so maybe it would be just matter of time till he comes to Heaven and makes some troubles

Asking a monkey to watch the peach orchards is like a fox guarding the hen house. Idk why they never thought of it 🤣
Yeah, that was the very first thing came to my mind when they asked him of it lol
It's about discipline 👍🏼

人家说的身轻体壮。翻译没错,你读字幕读错了。
前面还有,学道叫learn the way,二三里叫two to three li,四五丈叫four to five zhang。。。。
Más bien en español, light significa tanto luz como ligero, tiene dos significadoa distintos
