Even though this was early in the series, I think his troubles with sarcasm is with comprehension only. The one episode he uses a virtual presence device and he was trying to pinpoint his death, he was very sarcastic with Leonard. It's like he can speak Spanish but cannot understand it well.
You would think Sheldon would know enough to embrace the truth: Any time you lessen the entropy of a system, you must increase the entropy of another system. Thus his cleaning up causes other places to become more messy!
Gökser Pirik I agree, but I also kind of like seeing a more human side of him. It doesn’t really matter though, the last seasons are worse than the first ones.

Probably because Leonard didn’t have as much of a character development as Sheldon. Sheldon among all of them had the most character development among all of them, with Penny being a close second.
I watched all friends and some videos of this show, the similarities 1. This scene reminds me of ross's couch and pivot 2. They're friends living in next door of each other 3. There is that Indian girl who leonard dated and she doesn't want him to hang out with penny just like emily "a control freak" Like Monica described 6. Sheldon is cleaning others homes just like Monica I only watched like 10 videos and this is so far what I noticed
Oh there's a lot more scenes/jokes that were basically exactly the same in Friends, like Phoebe's Gladys, and the place of Sheldon's spot basically the same explanation as the place for Joey's armchair...just a few of the top of my head
And if you watch Seinfield you will see the exact same jokes or situations in friends. And if you watch shows before that you will see similar patterns. 1:00 Exactly half? You have the weight of the package multiplied by the sine of the angle of the stairs + the weight of the package multiplied by the cosine of the angle of the stairs multiplied by the coefficient of friction between the cardboard and the stair carpet.
@@Maob08 the point is that's not the only force. You also have 86.6% of the weight of the box pushing down on the stair carpet. Although the coefficient of friction is less than 0.577 because the "heartless bitch" can pull the box back down the stairs with half the weight of the box. Proving it is less than 0.5/0.866. This gives an upper limit to the force required as the same weight as the box and a lower limit of half the weight.
Wow, Leonard blew up like Macy’s New Years Day Parade balloon through the series. Sheldon was right, Penny was trying harder to stay attractive that Leonard.
Johnny Galecki is ten years older than Kaley Cuoco. She started the series at twenty-two and looked like a teenager. He was thirty-two and looked mid-twenties thanks to how he was dressed. He finished the series at 44, and thanks to her cosmetic surgery, she looked pretty much the same age.
Mathematically the Mandelbrot set is classified as chaos. There is no chaos in Penny's apartment. It is just messy. Surprised a physicist is getting it wrong.
wouldve been cool to see more of that guy who lived before lol. also sheldon helping him set up camera in bedroom probably not knowing what he used it for lmao
in hindsight it would have helped more if leonard had actually explained to penny about sheldon's compulsiveness on cleanliness. then again if he did the entire episode probably would have been moot
The never repaired elevator significantly annoyed me: 1. Blast damage like that would have been investigated as a possible malicious criminal activity. No way would the fire department and the insurance company just let it go. 2. It had to result in significant building code violations that code enforcement would have required repairs to operational status to be accomplished. Normally you don't get more than 730 days(104 weeks) to accomplish those code repair and restoration mandates.
Lighten up. Maybe there was a brief investigation - boring to include in the show. Sometimes cops miss things too. And it wasn’t malicious. Fixing the elevator would be good in real life. In the show, it adds a quirkiness to the stair scenes. In real life codes like this are sadly not always enforced. But luckily this is just a tv show.
Says what you will about Sheldon and I say it all day too. But he can come clean my room any day. Sure he is rude on a level I can barely state with words. But when he wants something clean he does it himself.

After 10 years the landlord couldn't be bothered to FIX THE FREAKING ELEVATOR?! They should have called the housing department!
I imagine in a state like California, that wouldn't fly either.
You mean 12 years, in the 2nd last episode the landlord finally fixed the elevator
Believe it or not that actually tends to happen. When an elevator breaks down, most landlords don't bother to fix it.
It was part of the plot because great conversations were had on those stairs.
The trouble would be telling the landlord WHY the elevator got broken...
