This is the main theme from Bionicle: the game, honestly a sucky game, but I really loved this song so here it is!
Thank you everyone for keeping the spirit on Bionicle alive. I wrote this back in 2003, Paul Arnold and I wrote the score to the game, Justin Scharvona (Argonaut’s audio director) mixed the title track. Strings recorded in Prague, Brass in a school hall here in Cambridge and Sola Akingbola performed the percussion. The choir was sampled!

I love the vocals part...there's just something ridiculously awesome about it.

Who knew tribal chanting music can be so epic for a bunch of magical robotic legos.
The whole Bionicle series is just incredible.
This theme sure makes me pumped for playing through a rushed and mediocre game that sustains my interest purely based on nostalgia and nothing else!
I mean, it's not awful. There's nothing truly horrendous about it except the camera.
It's just painfully uninteresting once you look past the Bionicle license.
Lewa Nuva's level was almost great, a shame the rest of the game was hit so hard by the deadline.
Andy I just recently beat the game and... the credits have no music :/ I agree that Lewa Nuva's level was the best in gameplay and music, but other than his level, I only found Kopaka's level to be fun. The worst level was ofcourse Tahu Nuva's.
***** Nah I'm the total opposite, I couldn't stand that level. Not to mention the boss battle glitched for me where the first Bohrok got stuck underground. Still beat it though.
Lewas level pissed me off cos of the camera. Onua's level was the most fun to play because it was simple and the challenges were fun
Yeah considering that Argonauts original idea was going through all 6 Toa Mata and then the Toa Nuva
I know you commented this forever ago, but you hit the nail on the head and made laugh. My love for this game stems from my inner child and remembering the atmospheric lore surrounding it.
Now give me a next gen bionicle game. I wouldn't mind a slasher.

Then you will be pleased to hear that there is a openworld adventure game on the way, under the name Bionicle the masks of Power, the game is based on the mata toa and mata nui period, they are working on making the entire island in a big scale. The Demo Version is already awailable for download.

This was the first video game I really ever loved. Granted going back it was short and not all that good by standards, but it will always hold a special place in my heart. This theme epitomizes that love.

As a kid, I always thought the choir at parts like 0:00 said "Oh Lewa! Oh Le-Wahi" over and over 🤔😂
Even some of the worst games can be redeemed with a good soundtrack.
I thought it was pretty good, though i guess it can be a bit less entertaining on console in this case since you can do more things at once

I woke up this morning and had this theme stuck in my head for some reason. I really enjoyed this game as a child. So nostalgic!
I've said it once, and I'll say it thrice: if there's one thing LEGO has always managed to get right and do well with their various media, it's music.

This is my official theme for Bionicle in general. Every time I think of the franchise, this song always comes to mind. As for the game itself, yeah it's pretty bad, but I'll always have fond memories of playing it every chance I got.
Amazing how, a game that is, for all intents and purposes, average and terrible, can still have an amazing soundtrack that captures the spirit of the series in full. Really proves that no matter what, the genius of Bionicle can still shine through anything.
I won't say anything new: the game wasn't very good. The gameplay had everyone shoot energy despite having melee weapons, the graphics weren't very good, the story was paper thin and they even got the character names wrong on some ocastions (Takua Nuva?). But by God if this music is not epic. This theme is genuinely great.

I rate games based on how much I enjoyed them. So in my humble opinion the Bionicle Game is excellent when I played it when I was six and still excellent today. Maybe if was older when the Bionicle game came out, I might have hated it. But because of the enjoyment the game brought me then and the nostalgia factor associated with the game, it is one of my favorite games.
On another note, the music in this game is great. It not only captures the atmosphere in the game, but also the atmosphere and the tribal feeling of the entire Bionicle theme.
I still love the game today I dont get why people hate it.
I agree with you completely. People just don't like the game because it wasn't mature enough for them and it targeted a younger audience.

The thing with Lego games... the gameplay is meh, but the music IS AWESOME. Bionicle was a cut above for providing a small encyclopedia within their games to get you even further engrossed in the universe, but overall the gameplay was pretty mediocre. However, this game saved itself with the soundtrack and the environments.
Despite being a second rate gamecube game (but to me it was everything I wanted in my childhood) this game's ost kicks ass!

This theme, most music from BIONICLE Heroes, and the first three movie soundtracks were amazing.

No other villain I've seen has plan spanning thousands of years besides the Sith Emperor in the Star Wars KOTOR series, but the thing is he doesn't allow himself to lose, like Makuta does. Makuta is by far the most manipulative mastermind ever made.

I didn't play the game in the end. I just sat down and listened to this all the time. Loved it to bits(see what I did there) and still do now!

The best tune in a game i've ever played.
Played this as a kid, and this tune is still stuck to my mind! It got this amazing "heroic" feel to it.
I never did beat the PC game. Level 1 was challenging enough already! You felt lucky just getting passed it!
But the music definitely brings back memories.
I'm gonna find a DVD copy of Mask of Light so we can watch that again...its been too long since we watched that. I'll never forget Bionicle.
Star Wars has always had such great LEGOs but Bionicle is truly the master race of all LEGOs. Rest In Peace Bioncle.
Man, it feels great to hear this music again. This game was the best when I was in elementary school, and I absolutely loved the music, especially the main theme.

THE NOSTALGIA! Frantically typing at keyboard I didn't know how to use at the age of five! Playing on my friend's play station and being amazed that it never crashed! Getting my dad to do the tricky bits! THIS BRINGS IT ALL BACK!

Lewa's level was my favorite, tree surfing and then gliding was fun.
The computer with which I used to play this game had some kind of problem with sound (I think it was the sound card), and consequently I've never heard this music before. It sounds pretty good!
@KiloBravo18 I took another crack at it several years later. Turns out it's alot more fun when you care alot less about game quality than you do about playing as your favorite characters.
I forgot about this game. It's still fun even after I beat it like 5 times. Games like this never get old... It's just one of those games.

Abillioncats Thanks for uploading it. I had the privilege of being able to play this game once at a friend's house. I don't remember the game's music a whole bunch because the volume was low, but I am glad I can come back and revisit some of the good music from the game because you made it available.
It wasn't the best game...but my god, music-wise Bionicle never failed to deliver...except for the Piraka rap.

i used to play this on my pc computer all the time. i love this song and i just thought of bionicle today. I LOVE BIONICLE!!! just nto as much as i used to. but still its a great song :) i loved all the robot guys :D great music :) speaking of music im going to post some of mine on here soon :)

@MistikaManiac Well, I don't think Makuta is coming back, so said the author of the books, Greg Farshtey, but Bioncle hasn't ended your right, Greg still does web serials continuing the story, with new villains and all that good stuff, don't know if it will ever come back as a toy line again but it's possible, if they weren't considering it they wouldn't be having Greg continuing the story.
It was, that footage is the one of a very rare test realease. Due to Budget cut, many bugs and other factors, they had to stop :( Man, too bad they couldn't produce an awesome long PC bionicle game. If Valve would take on the bionicle project, prepare your wallet ! !
@TheSuperSnelly Greg's been taking a while. Yesterday Quest and Powers that be have been going for a year. YQ has three chapters andPTB has four. Greg's kinda busy with his newborn daughter now. I don't think the story will go on for much longer, sadly.
And i asked Greg myself once. Matoro's dead, and his spirit is trapped in the Ignika. He's not coming back, either.

This game is pretty mediocre, but the OST is superb. It suits the theme it was made for far better then the OSTs from the various movies.
Aww i thought they were BOTH amazing! I still have it and as long as it works and has good controls (sort of) pretty good graphics (they're OK but still) i think its actually kinda ok :D i remember when i was little, my bro and i would think to ourselves "those are AWESOME GRAPHICS" from back in the day, now we're giving it all rasberries but its still an OK game lol.
They should continue the Bionicle legacy or at least, let someone else continue it in the form of MMO. Trust me, It will be EPIC!!!!

yes the game was bullshit, what point are you making? my point was that the bionicle games and every game lego makes or tries to make is boring, terrible, and horrendous. not that I hate the series involved in the game making.
