I saw this video yesterday. I came back to see this X48 again. Harrelson brings versatility and innovation in various ways: manufacturing, flexible design (adaptability or customization to each player), functionality (efficiency) and aesthetics. This last one, the visual design, is the artistic aspect of Harrelson trumpets. He brings different designs. I don’t like all of them, but others I do a lot. And that’s the key: he has the ability to bring a lot of ideas to get the attention of anyone looking for a special trumpet. I am a Bach “fan”, I admit it, but Bach isn’t the place to find that special “car”. Bach is like a fine Honda Accord (I love Hondas ok!)... but you need to look to Italy to find a Maserati or Ferrari. So.... Harrelson trumpets has that edge. This X48 is one of those designs I like (like the Dreams). Tends to be more minimalistic in design, which I prefer.... but you might like one of those Big Summits! There you go! May the Creator gives Harrelson lots of health and a long life to continue bringing pure art and design to the best instrument over the face of the Earth: the Trumpet!
Beautiful instrument. It's amazing all of the ideas that go through these horns.
