1:07:08 Is there relation between parallel transport and optimal transport?

17:52 Wasn't expecting that. Almost gave me a heart attack XD. He did catch it though, cool guy.

9:35 so we are assuming there is a global Lorentz frame in which we observe light not moving with the speed of light? In fact it's moving spacelike?

Is any indian here studying in MIT, I just wanna ask that how much percentage is needed in 12th to get into MIT as in field of experimental physicist. I am currently 14, and have studied all of these things which aint of my level and i understand it. I want to study in MIT after my 12th, thats why i want to ask.

Do you have something that makes you unique, there are millions of students in india who score percentage above 90, and above all why do you even want to go there, is it just because you heard many things about people dying to get in there or great people working there, do you have any idea about research fields they are working in because you may find it excruciatingly hard to do research, just thinking about sweet golden epiphanies and getting admitted there isn't research.

I happened to search the word for thing I wanted to tell you in essence in Hindi (which I don't know much), the word is "bhed chal" kinda like rat race.
p.s. by the way I remembered from rats did you read Maus by Spiegelman (Pulitzer winner because guys like you just judge by awards and achievements)

@@benbarberian1701 Oh, so tell me, what were you doing at the age of 14. And when it comes to competition. I have won two time international physics cups by that age of 14. So, if you wanna check what comp is this. Go on their website and check its level of hardness.

@@benbarberian1701 And, I know what all level of research is going there. Also by the way my field is experimental physicist under particle and quantum mechanics. So, age doesn't matter..

@@studywitharii Read blog by Tarence Tao, may be you will understand importance of perseverance over these short bursts of achievements, this whatever competition you are boasting about is nothing in the world of academia.
p.s. By the way you should not put quantum and particle everywhere, wtf is that field you sound like some hotchpotch noob physicist, there I said it (My god why am I such an ass), You should cite your papers if you want to give idea of your work, if you want to see how grad students roast such amateurs, @TwoSetViolin is a good channel (although for music grad students)
