- Pan1cKnife shows you how to boost your region's economy quickly by rushing from mining to electronics!
In part one, Pan1cKnife goes from the beginning of the city to the point where mining is no longer necessary and sets the stage for an electronics based economy!
Honestly, all you have to do is build one city dedicated to just pillaging land annd mining resources. Then once everything is used up like an old condom, just send the money to a new city in a hotspot location. Make this new city a tourist city. Once you have your population's needs met, just start climbing your way up the casino chain until you have enough tourist to spam your city with elegant casinos. Do this until you have 100,000+ income. Do you find yourself running out of resources? Dedicate all other available spaces to cities that will power your city. Fund them with the money you have in store.
After you create this continous loop, just leave your game on for the night and you'll wake up with around 100 million dollars. Once you've completely broken all rules the game has with this unlimited amount of *legitimate* money, do whatever you want. I built a whole "city" using solar panels and just a couple of people (like 100) to work them all. I did this because I used all of my great works for airports.
Electronics exporting is the way more broken tho. If you build as much production chain possible, then u can reap 10 million per hour.
Thanks. This helps me a lot, especially with the Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack because that way you only import raw ore, coal, and crude oil and use that to provide for the rest of your needs, including your OmegaCo factories.
the bad thing is you cant expand the city boundary by buying more lands.
WOW, finally found someone that knows how to play this game! Thanks Awful, this rocks!
to start with get a stable small town economy with a small profit and let it bring in money for a while when u have enough go crazy with the mining if you start running low on one ressource when u get the smelting plant start importing that ressource, and focus solely on alloys. when u got a few mil's and youre second ressource begins to run out start up the electronic plants, import plastics to start use youre alloys locally. lastly switch completely to electronics by importing alloys as well.
Thank you for this video I didn't realize this can be done in Sim City which makes me want to start my games over thanks again and keep more videos for Sim City strategies coming
Processors is by far the best money maker. Any city can get enough alloy and plastic from recycling to supply one factory. Once you get enough extra money you can start importing plastic and alloy to supply more factories.
From what I can tell, that indicator is broken. "9 months" in game time is technically 9 game day/night cycles, so I should've burned through the ore way before then. Clearly that's not the case.
If you've already gotten the HQ, I would plop two or three trading depots, four-storage them with ore, switch to local, and fill them up... then switch to export as soon as you flip over to the next day. With three full depots, it shouldn't be too tough at all. If you're really running out of ore, I'd either find a secondary source to pump ore with or switch to coal. Once you upgrade the HQ and get at least one smelter, just import the raw materials to keep it afloat!
+Aaren Lafrance Yes. Just import from the global market when that runs out. The importing of materials is cheaper than the price of importing finished products. That said, import things at the bottom of the productions chain if possible.
This is also very useful with Cities of Tomorrow because although your OmegaCo is pretty cheap to run, if you are building drones, it is always wise to already have a processor franchise on the run because importing processors is extremely expensive. I accidentally added an extraction division instead of a robotics division, but it doesn't really matter because an extraction division should be the first to build for people extracting oil and ore directly to the factories.
Drone factory takes quite a toll on your city unless you actually have a recycling centre to gather alloy and plastic to make processors. If not, importing processors will take up to around 80k per batch
0:47 That facebook message got me to check facebook...
me to

Wilson Slimie hhahaha i just opend faebook and though it was mine aswell
.
What do the boxes do? I have no clue shouldn't you just delete it? In the trading depot
Damn the Facebook sound!!! i kept checking! but the thing is, i actually got a message on there, but then...trolololol!! Pahahaha
I can see you're dedicated to your method. It seems very cumbersome to me though. My priorities would be to build up the town laying down avenues from the beginning (even if it evolves very slowly), and throwing most of my hourly budget on education. The highly educated town will recycle, from which I can sell reclaimed alloy. The important part of this strategy is that the 'means' serve the population just as much as the treasury, and the recycling is 'renewable'. I NEVER touch mining in this game. It runs out eventually, pollutes the city, and for the amount of time and effort doesn't yield all that much.
in SC? it's very easy. bigger question is - how to spend them
because alloy is a mixture of metal and coal you only get metal from the recycycling center
Can I ask what keyboard shortcuts you used to check the ore/oil/water at start of the video, and what you used to create square dirt roads? And finally to create square residential areas?
Thanks.
i usually import alloys and plastics and make the processors
I used the recycling center for this and the alloy never got to the processor fatory only plastic.
Great video, just have one question.
How are you downgrading and re designating the trade depots? The only way I've found is just to bulldoze the depot but I don't like having to spend an extra 18K just to fix a trade depot.
Press the b (bulldozer) button while you are in edit/upgrade menu for the trade depot.
Yeah, I figured it out and now feel like a damned fool I didn't realize you could do that. Thanks though!
No problem! I had the same issue the other day lol.
He was logged into Facebook, the message bleeped and for a second I thought I was logged in...lol.
i build about 5-7 mines and about 10-12 smelting factories before proceeding to hi-tech
When is part two coming out?
I remember when I was playing this game, I really wanted to make an entirely green map, but it was so freaking hard, in a different map I made a tech town making processors and holy crap, you can just import the mats needed to complete the great works it's silly.
I found this awesome all in one cheat for Sim City :) facebook.com/SimCity-Buildit-Resources-Generator-163307760695267/?pidid=8f9b8d44-f6e9-4a63-a53c-bd2159c3ad1c Sim City - From Zero to Silicon Valley - How to make millions with your city! (Part One)
@@afiqhalim it was obviously a joke, and yes i know im replying 3 years in the future.
@@elswyer4973 And I know that I am replying 1 week in future!
Tomorrow morning at 9am EST!
but metal and coal arent unlimited wouldnt this eventually stop working?
Yes, but even when they do run out, by that time, you should already have processors, smelting, and oil refineries by that time. You want to get those as early in the game as possible before your resources run out, because you're too late and your city goes broke repetitively.
which sim city is this? the build it one? u can get online??
My question is how do you even get the raw ore storage lot in your trade depot without having the metals division first?
great vid, just bought this game a week ago and all the mechanics are daunting and not well explained. i start a city and do well at first but i always start over because it doesnt go how i planned..
Wow that explains where that chat sound came from...
Where's part 2 ?! Good job man
I wish I knew what I was doing wrong, I keep trying to follow your guide but I always get drawn to the city. If I ignore it, a multitude of problems start to crop up. *sigh* I guess I'll try again what else can I do?
well the best advice to give you is start a start a seperate city in the same region and have it do trash collection and maybe supply some power to the city in which you want to start your metals headquartersbut the water, sewage you want to keep within the city that you desiring to use for collection of raw materials for making alloy, metal, plastic, that will eventually lead to other stuff, i hope this gives you some insight to help you save some space and some polution problems
Sandbox Mode isn't cheating. It's actually more realistic because in real life, your city doesn't INVENT the internet, or have to invent any new, yet common, technologies to improve basic services. That is just ridiculous.
not that this matters now but you could have saved money some with switching out your polution pipe that originally comes with the coal power plant to using the pipe that uses less polution , the burner with the 2 pipes on it and it gives you a better burning power rate too, im curious as to how you kept your coal power plant going without running out of coal, you totally did away with your coal mine, unless you had coal globally brought in to your city, that part has me skeptical the most along with a few other things
+mrfunnier34 You cant do that at the beginning of the game. In order to do that you have to have university with school of engineering and research it.
well no i mean the 2 pipe exhaust not the other 1, the 1 i was talking about doesn't require school of engineering and its about almost 100 dollars cheaper to run, the latest 1 actually costs more to have than the 1 i was refering to
mrfunnier34 I thought I was talking about the second one. Oh I always forget about the second one.
ya same issue here ... are you implying b to a would work? i tried gifting like 5 times and it worked only once and i dont know why.
The mine says 9 months left. How much real time is that (running at llama)?
I’m treating this like a let’s play
So I need help man... I did this but now it looks like I am running out of coal and raw ore and I dont even have smelting yet.... it took me a long time to upgrade the Metals HQ! :(
Is there a way to select the type of housing you want in the communities?
***** You're only half right. You will only get higher wealth if the land value is there. Low land value = trailers. high wealth = mansions. etc.
Warchief1521 yeah sorry, i recently just got the game. You have to add parks
Can u give us a link for its highly compressed download
what just happened to me was super weird, i was turning 1million a month, so i decided to re-specialize my whole city, got rid of all industry, and put in lots of processor plants but at the same time i was imported all the alloys, and then my money just crashed and im now bankrupt, any idea how to get out of my hole?
Wait how did he make it so the crate thing holds 16.2 and not 5.something like normal.
I was totally confused for like a minute before realizing it was the video, not my facebook chat.
Thanks brah cause I am struggling with this issue
how do you region whole blocks
You don't have any worker shortage problem ?
It takes a while to send. It does go though.
get the expo center for millions
0:37 why is the quality bad
I don't see the point in mining unless you are planning to use it in some way, like burning in the powerplant or using in the metallurgy, microprocessor factory.
whats the highest monthly income anyone has achieved so far? I'm curious because my highest income for my city has been about 3.2 million with an average of 2.6 million so far.
Nice you have 20k And -1300h
Can you run out of ore??
hey just push
ctrl+alt +w or
alt+w for money
My city has -40000/hr but i make 1min monthly profit due to the processor factories i have
The most I've ever made per hour is 30k/hour with nothing special bringing the cash in.
No mining, no processors, very little recycling (and all of the output was going into an Arcology), no gambling, and no tourism.
so when does the "real" money start rolling in?
I was on fullscreen and i heard the blip from Facebook.. I pressed esc to read the message... You trolled me dude... Nice video though.. :)
Say "go ahead" one more time. I dare you. I double dare you.
where can download this game , can give me website ? Help Pls , Thx
can't quite download it if ever you have to buy this game in the store there are 2 different versions also, the limited version and digital unlimited version

Yea u helped me
This is STRANGE!
SimCity become economical game :\
It's always been an economical game.
Definitely. But, following this guide, you shouldn't have to.
Am I the only one who checked their facebook at the beginning...?
Hahahaha yu trolled me with fb notification
Coal and Ore!
You don't have to say "I'm gonna go ahead and..." every bloody sentence...
+Maffoo I'm gonna go ahead and.... agree with u
Wait...how can u run a coal power plant without a mine in place? Since this is a new region...Can you fucking do that?! I didnt know..
You can just buy fuel from the market.
you made me check facebook..
Who else paused the video to check facebook?
Step 1 of making Millions, convince Pancakewife to send you 3,000,000 to cover your meth addiction. Squander said 3,000,000 pancakesent you on crack.
Step 2 .....
Step 3 Profit.

Lol look how tiny the maps are
thumbs up if you got that funny welches fruit snack commercial

alt + ctrl + w
I did :p
Great, but you do have a tendency to go on and on. Less talky talky, please because I couldn't finish your video.
U are losing 25k per hour.And u call it making millions 😒😒
BUSINESS INVESTMENTS ARE PAYING IT OFF! You don't have to be in the green to make money!
So you can't name your own city in this game ?
well, yes you can, it only requires you to place the town hall ;)
Ye yu can you can do it anytime.
G3sZoom Only if you have a town hall. in Sandbox, you can do it anytime.
Benhar Harlen You don't need your town hall, it is possible from the beginning
Not an ideal way to make money. I guess if you're a noob you will do this setup.
NA
i dont even own this game
Ppwwww screw that just press alt+w
Cheater i tried and i have to cheat to do this
The biggest disappointment in my life was to buy this.... game? The maps are so small that the game can not really be played. I have just installed it and played for a while and I still can not get over the fact how small the maps are? can not belive that::::: Is it a joke? Jesus..... This is a city simulation game? Damn..... My God........ Build a hospital, a police station add some zones and you have finished.... My God..... Look at Cities XL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
