Everything was bought off Amazon just make sure you get marine grade so that nothing corrodes.
I have a doubt regarding the Deeper Fish Finder. Isn't it designed to work as a lure that you attach to your line and cast out to scan the water as you slowly troll it back? I'm confused why you would need to install the sensor separately. Wouldn't it be the same to simply attach the sensor to a short line and troll it behind your kayak? Thank you in advance for your help.

Out my spots because I do a lot of bank fishing but it also works for kayaks. A lot of people have fish finders confused. They are just a tool that shows directly under you. Depth , water temp & speed as well. I was one that thought it showed you like one side of your boat or yak. Or the front.. But no your fish finder is really for mapping out where the holes are and depth. Just a tool I use for finding good spots without snags. I’ve had fish finders telling me that there was fish and I know for a fact I was in a new 15 ft pond that was just being dug and man made. So remember people your fish finder is reading really wherever you point the transducer. Usually directly under you. Now they do have live scope that you can see but it’s in the thousands of dollars . Everyone have a good day .
I keep my most used lures, phone, cigs, and joints in your "battery compartment". Think I'm going to put my battery down in the hull (probably in some sort of dry box) so I don't lose the utility of that compartment.
That would work great. Just make sure it is secured so it won’t slide around.

It is just a cheap 12v battery from Amazon but it does the job
Did you screw your track on or did it come with the kayak already

That transducer mount actually comes with a small track.
How long will that battery last you?
I have yet to run it completely dead and the longest I fished with it was about 6 hours.
What transdeucer do you have
It’s the factory Garmin transducer. None of the mega di or sidescan

Tamarack angler pro is the shit. Im on year 3 with mine. Not sure why people buy those uncomfortable regular tamarack and Teton models. Those seats suck ass.
