It makes such a change to see a normal, lived in house. I had to wash up in 3 installments the other day because my lot had used every knife, fork, spoon, bowl, cup and plate!! My boy was eating with a cheese knife and a serving spoon!!! Glad Xmas is over really. Love your videos Faye. Keep 'em coming. Happy New year

Totally agree!My place looked like a bomb had dropped and my kids are grown up!I`m also one for getting the tree and decs down ,as you can`t move let alone clean/clear up properly!!Oh ,and i got up this morning ,we had 1 knife and pretty much nothing else..lol comes to something when you`ve git to upturn a knife to stir your morning cuppa :).Happy New Year!! xx

It feels so good to have a clean house ! Hint for stopping water boiling over - put a wooden spoon on top of the saucepan - be surface of the spoon helps disperse the bubbles apparently - works for me whatever the reason !
I started at 9am this morning and finished at 4pm. It's such a nice feeling. I do love Christmas but I do like to see the back of it. Bring on 2022. Xxx

Hi Faye another great video x my Dad passed away on 22/11/21. Looked after him right till the end. Christmas was hard however I feel I shouldn’t complain as at 50 yrs old I still have my mum x Slot of people are not that lucky. We are a big close family and help each other through. Watching your blogs kept me going and made me laugh and cry ( with laughter though😂) I would just like to say thank you for being there even though you wouldn’t of known how you help me xx love to your family + fur babies stay safe and well xx

Xmas decs up till New Year’s Day, it’s still Christmas, it seems to be a new thing taking decs down after Xmas day some people leave them up till twelfth night, which is the old tradition!
Day after New Years day we take ours down New Years day we have a big dinner so we’re stuffed after that so the day after is just right hope you’ve had a nice Xmas
I can't recommend the flash mop enough honestly, so quick and easy and the wipes do my whole downstairs if I use both sides. Perfect amount of moisture and minimal effort compared to a normal mop. Plus its tiny so easy to store X
Worse part of Christmas is all the cleaning afterwards 🙈 I want to take my decs down this week get everything back to normal makes me feel better too 🙂 love watching your cleaning video too xx

Right with you on the getting back to normal Faye! The tree looked lovely and the decs were nice but it`s so good to be able to move around freely again ,and clean up everything properly! That’s exactly how a family Christmas should look like no plates left crumbs everywhere my house is exactly the same it’s a sign that everybody has had a great time and spent those precious moments together my decks coming down tomorrow to had a real tree this year and literally no bloody needles left on the thing 🤣it looks like a bunch of twigs with a bit of tinsel attached 🤣🤣xx

Great job! But no way I am taking the decorations down lol. Only put them up 2 days ago and took me 4 h so I'll bloody enjoy it at least till the end of January 😄 Feels so nice and cosy with the lit up lights in the evenings. Plus no kids and animals running around so much easier to keep it up I supppose. Also since it's bloody cold and snowy in Prague so it does not feel much different to Christmas 🙈😳

I live with my partner in West Yorkshire but he's from Liverpool and i'm from Manchester so usually a week before Christmas we'll have our own Christmas Day, with dinner, xmas movies and opening presents of each other... that type of thing and then around the 22/23 I'll go to my parents and he'll go to see his mum (his dad passed away a few years ago) anyway the moment I got to my parents I was out shopping with my mum and my dad phoned from work to tell us he's tested positive, he had a cold but didn't think it was covid anyway on Thursday night my mum started saying she wasn't feeling well so everybody went to bed early and when she woke up Christmas Eve she wasn't well at all and she did one of those home test and it came up straight away that she was positive, I did one and it said negative. I had to make a decision whether I was going to stay or go home but I knew if I caught it I wouldn't be able to travel back for New Years which me and my partner celebrate together, so I decided to go home which my parents hated because that meant I was on my own over Christmas but I thought it was the best decision, I love xmas, I don't have any children but I love being round my nieces and nephews and seeing their excitement, so it was devastating that I couldn't do that and I was on my own. Anyway that was all for nothing because Christmas Day I became ill and I've just tested positive for covid 🤦♀and for those who don't know the rules have changed, if someone has tested positive that you've been around but you've tested negative (which I did on the home test) then you dont have to isolate but obviously now I do... at least my partner is home with me even tho im sleeping on the bloody couch 😂

Same here with covid hun, we’ve been testing ourselves every day, my fellas auntie phoned on Christmas Day to say merry Christmas and oh by the way I’ve tested positive for covid, after her daughter came round 2 days prior for my daughters birthday 🙄

Hey no it’s fine x so I usually recycle all the time, but on this occasion we had so much rubbish and a waste disposal company was coming to get it so I was just bagging everything up xx
